  • I came across just my look recently too and they had free delivery and the cheapest price so I took the plunge paid through PayPal, item arrived within two days so happy days!
    If unsure shop through PayPal.
  • I had terrible experience with them. One month headache, I been lucky I used Paypal, they give me refund after one month stress. Never again

    I have just received my 1st order from justmylook. Everything went fine with it. If I had read all these negative reviews I would have never ordered anything. But I have to say all went well for me.

    A regular poster (14k+ posts) used the company in 2018 and had a positive experience.

    Not only they don't reply, but they scam you !
    I ordered a new Wahl trimmer, it arrived in a packaging that seemed to have been opened before and I found that the comb that comes with the trimmer wasn't original and didn't fit on it. I contacted them (you can only send an  email) and they just rejected my query and said everything we sent you was good. I felt this was unfair and sent them photos and kept chasing them, then they asked me to return the product for inspection (at my own expense) and their email was signed by someone called Charlotte. So I returned them their product exactly how I received it and on the same box and packaging, then I kept chasing to get a reply.  They finally replied (the email was signed by someone called Dawn) and said the product I returned them wasn't the one they sent me and had a different serial number. I never have had any similar product in my life apart from the one they sent me, I really couldn't beleive this, so basically they scammed me and they are now simply ignoring my emails.
    The only thing I felt I can do now is to leave the review so that as much people can see this and avoid ordering from them, hopefully they can get back a bit of justice for what they did to me and people can avoid loosing their money like me.

    Thats what i basically said is it not , things change / may get better or as next poster says may get worse .
  • Recently purchased a Loreal Pro steampod for £199 after reading rave reviews. Unfortunately after one try I realised this did not work on my hair. Packaged back up in immaculate condition and returned (another £9). Just been informed they will not refund and are sending it back to me. Really poor customer service. My advice is DO NOT BUY products from this site but use a reputable Co. like Boots or QVC, who will allow a return if product does not 'work' for you. I will never buy from Just my Look again.

    Their return policy clearly states:
    Goods must be returned in their original, sealed packaging and re-saleable.


    Boots policy says:

    If you change your mind about an unused item you’ve bought in the last 35 days, simply return it in its packaging. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition or are damaged.

    I would not class an item that has been used - especially a personal item - as re-saleable.

    Would you have been happy to receive an item that - although in 'immaculate condition' - had been used on someone else's hair?

    This is a funny old thread is it not?
    Started in 2015 and has had  sporadic additions ever since .... some good but quite a lot of not so good.

    My own experience is bad.  Their communications channels aren't great - they've stopped replying to my emails, and, as we know, there are no phone lines open.

    My most recent communication to them was a formal notification of my intention to initiate proceedings in the Small Claims Court. I suspect it won't be causing their management sleepless nights though .... but I simply cant tolerate blatant disregard of the laws of the land and having them assume they can ride roughshod over their (one time) customers.... and more to the point - taking me for a mug.
