Benefits Advice

Spoke to MacMillan advisor today - she confirmed all the above (just wanted to make doubly sure; was in for treatment anyway and she is based there so popped in to see her whilst there).
So, now told CA no claim from 1/4/15. That confused them as they didn't get the form until 7/4/15, and apparently if it isn't wrote in a white box it doesn't go on to the computer - hence the confusion in the last few posts.
They are going to recalculate and amend as necessary. Once I get CA letter I need to ring IS and update them, as DWP departments aren't the greatest at communication apparently(!) - and they will update accordingly.
My only concern is that IS have recalculated the Carers Premium from 27/5/15, which means CA must be getting paid too. Just a question of whether that's going to mess up my benefits for a few weeks while they sort everything out. Shouldn't be a problem as I've got a buffer built up in my 'holding account' which will cope with this - it's just making sure the dates are right!
Assuming my CA is paid after 1/4/15 then 'repaid', which benefit is it deducted from, is it IS or HB?
Thanks for all the advice, hopefully this will sort itself out fairly quickly.

it shouldn't stop or suspend your claim.
you may get paid the lower carers premium instead of the SDP while it is sorted, but it will be backdated within a few weeks.
good luck!0
