    Good morning :)

That's appalling  I should count myself lucky I don't have these kind of problems with my store. Refunds are always processed within a couple of days and even trouting is a fairly rare occurrence for me in my store. If I didn't get a refund that was due to me it would never give up, would pester them every day until they gave it just to get rid of me :D I guess it's a bit different if you never paid cash in the first place. Did they know this when you spoke to them? Was this their excuse for not giving you a refund?

Yes evangelne, they couldn't understand how I could get a refund, (even though I said it should be apg refunded) when I paid pennies, it wasn't rocket science :D I even explained to a senior manager who eventually saw I was correct. Said I'd get an apg refund but I didn't. Tbh I couldn't be asked, just learned hard way to be carefull & not refuse subs.

The driver scans the items we're rejecting but we have no way of checking if this has been done correctly and that's what causes the problems. I have worried about this but luckily always got my correct refund, unfortunately others haven't been so lucky. It should be that we have to sign for our refund then at least we could check it's been processed. If I ever lost out because of this I'd be writing to them suggesting this. Their processes are a complete shambles and it's totally unacceptable for people not to get the refund that is rightfully due to them. To have to chase this for weeks is ridiculous and there's no way I'd let this go if this happened to me.

I've had to chase two different refunds involving APG's. One was over £20, no way I was letting that go. Its more complicated here, as the store i go to for c&c isn't actually the store that picks the goods, they come from elsewhere. It involved lots of phone calls to that store, speaking to different members of staff 4 or 5 times. Eventually one helpful manager I got through to was able to refund the APG for me there and then (although it took a couple of days to show on account).

Other one was around £7. Again, different store. I got nowhere with this one. In the end, I happened to mention it to CS at my local and telling them what a nightmare it had been. They very kindly gave me a giftcard as a refund, and I took a copy of my invoice in so they had the paperwork. They didn't have to as nothing to do with them.

I do try and spend extra when using APG's for home delivery or c&c, but you shouldn't have to, and it shouldn't be such a hassle trying to chase up the refund afterwards.

The customer service helpline was worse than useless in both cases, they didn't have a clue what I was going on about.
