The worst thing you can do is tell booking.com that you want to stay at xx pub in yyy town - they will drive you bats with emails saying the price has gone down.

No its hasn't, it always shows as £70 a night whatever dates I put in.

Plus when I booked late July for 2 nights in August 2014 - mid season I paid £110 - laterooms gave me a £10 discount, sadly they don't appear on laterooms anymore

so £120 in August 2014 compared to £140 for any dates in 2015 - that is a £20 increase not a decrease
    - plus we know now about the lunch deal, we didn't get time last year - but that's another £20 for the lunch deal so now its £160 :D

    Good morning all.

A bit overcast here this morning, but made better with a Toby Carvery breakfast. Although the only MSE thing about it was the electricity I saved by letting someone else cook it. :)

    Have a great day everyone.

EDIT: The sun has just come out. Must be the Elite Effect.

I know that I won't feel anything whilst it's been done, it's just the thought of what they are going to do
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

morning all hope the elite are well,
had a busy weekend so just going to catch up and hope I did not miss much

lovely sunny day here, but a bit of a strange morning, ds3 woke with a really bad throat and very swollen tonsils and cant eat, went to bed fine, then in making him a honey and lemon, the jar of honey jumped:eek: of the side I swear I was no where near, a full jar and went every where even into the lounge on the carpet:o:o cleared up the mess and made a cuppa and sat on the door step drinking it, when someone goes Can you move please your spoiling my photos. Now I am sitting on my own front door step so was a little annoyed, we have a pretty property with stunning views and lots of cute things in the garden so often get people taking photos but never been asked to move,:p:p
Then the phone rings about my Asda delivery today its going to be late, I said fine then after putting the phone down realised I dont have an order for today:rotfl:
