Thank you mrsmac, I must admit my stomachs is starting to churn now as the day gets nearer
I know that I won't feel anything whilst it's been done, it's just the thought of what they are going to do
hope it all goes well altojack, its usually the fear is worse than the actual op, but you will have positive thoughts from the whole elite behind you xxxx0 -
rhosy, you are so right. You would think after having given birth to 4 big babies, last one was 10lb 4oz, a back operation, a back manipulation and stretch under general that I would be prepared. I was until this morning. Woke at 3.15am and couldn't get back to sleep.
Think I need to fall back on what yoga and relaxation exercises I remember, or listen to my cd of whales to try and calm down. There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
Ghosh it's quiet in here this morning, everyone hitting the shops
Think I'll have my morning rest now and catch you all up later xThere's no place like home

lovely sunny day here, but a bit of a strange morning, ds3 woke with a really bad throat and very swollen tonsils and cant eat, went to bed fine, then in making him a honey and lemon, the jar of honey jumped:eek: of the side I swear I was no where near, a full jar and went every where even into the lounge on the carpet:o:o cleared up the mess and made a cuppa and sat on the door step drinking it, when someone goes Can you move please your spoiling my photos. Now I am sitting on my own front door step so was a little annoyed, we have a pretty property with stunning views and lots of cute things in the garden so often get people taking photos but never been asked to move,:p:p
Then the phone rings about my Asda delivery today its going to be late, I said fine then after putting the phone down realised I dont have an order for today:rotfl:

Its natural to be nervous. I've had 14 operations under general anaesthetic, the majority of them bladder related. Even the really simple ones like the botox injections I get nervous about. For the simple ones I'm usually ok until the day, then the nerves kick in.
However, I'm not sure how I'll be before my next op in July, which is major and very complex. To be honest I'm glad we're on holiday for almost 3 weeks beforehand, as I will be distracted by being on holiday so won't have so much time to think about it. Every time I think about it now it freaks me out.0 -
