I like to call them the Battenburgs...I do have a lot of respect for the Queen but my family is Irish so caught between the two countries..somewhere mid Irish sea I've always felt.

I'm all for democracy and as far as Scotland's future ..its up to the Scots what they wish to do BUT democracy and voting depends on, as other posters have said too, being told the truth or at least being able to wade through the smoke screens to get at the truth, any truth.

"An independent Scotland's budget surpluses as a result of the oil boom, wrote Professor McCrone, would be so large as to be "embarrassing"."

So when people say us scots cost England a lot of money you actually make our blood boil! If that's the case, give us our independence tomorrow!:mad:
  • lol, anyone can make whisky, try Sheep Dip.
Its just grain spirit with flavouring from.......................

Most of Englandshire was praying for a yes vote.

Yep, but the ones the know the truth (the politicians) about how much they milk from Scotland were fighting tooth and nail for us to stay. I wonder why? Why keep us if we actually cost money? ;)

If you all didn't live so bloomin far away would have had you all down here. :A

I'm down your way every couple of months TS " zipping" along between Bournemouth and Poole. Well we both know that "zipping" along that route's not possible especially when you get to the Westbourne roundabout and despite your very best intentions get stuck in Parkstone........again .... I'm pretty sure I've also mentioned to you how much I hate Castlepoint car park..but I'll say it again because...I really do....loved living there, have loved visiting there since the 60's, love going to see my DD now but if I lived there again, I'd ditch the car and walk...

Soz, just trying to make discussion lighter.
Unfortunately the media seem to prevent various areas from learning about others, defining differences instead of celebrating and discussing them.
Back on subject of glitches, been well over 3 hours since I had my shop and no APG  , am still on old system too.

Further price reduction on the Rectangular Bowls/Dish Drainers in M (and probably also on the Sink Trays), if you are lucky to find them (...and you will be lucky, after how long it takes me to get here:D:rotfl:). Now 48p. Bowls started off at £1:eek:, then 78p. Sink Trays £1, then 88p. Wonder if the large swing bins, that were £5, ever went to 48p?:rotfl::rotfl: No stock for me to know that if so.

48p (on the Bowls, Trays and Drainers) is probably their final offer, as that's what the specific Coffee Cannisters went down to (as opposed to the ones that remain at several pounds each:eek:) before slowly totally disappearing. They usually end at 48p - unless they are stubborn diaries at 18p or something:rotfl:. That said, I'm always wrong, as I've had them on my lists at each of the higher prices!(:rotfl:)
