No it was an O2 deal.
Really hacked off - I'm giving up with CPW and pay monthly!
I'm a light user and will now go to an ASDA PAYG Sim.
At least I wont have to bother with chequebacks, I did fire off an email rant to Mr Dunstone - his various email addresses can be easily found.
I don't care if the network provider has made the decision here or not - the fact that I had to go through two credit checks in as many days probably did me in!
I don't own a cent to anyone and own my own house - so F**k 'em !!
No way am I paying Equifax etc a penny to figure this out as suggested by CPW!0 -

I havn't good experience with CPW either. 1st of all, 2 years ago when i went to CPW for a O2 contract, they declined me. after 6 months when i checked my credit report from equifax, i found they searched for all mobile company o2, orange, virgin, vodafone, three. though i just asked for o2.
later when i applied for a three contract, they also declined me telling that three network declined me. but funny thing, i already got two 3 contract phone. then why they will declined me ? i emailed them. they asked me to call the customer service. then i called the customer serverice 0845 number. After 35 mins on waiting, i cut my line.
& about quidco & CPW ? i used my quidco account to claim cashback for my 2 colleague. & they declined both of them. though i friend already got same company o2 contract & next day he went to o2 store & got a new contract. Other colleague never got declined decision in his life. he got all platinum, gold, mortgage... heavy credit history. & they declined him. & CPW told what ? network declined him...that was not their decision...my personal opinion, CPW doesn't want to pay extra money for quidco cash back...thats why they normaly declined.0 -

Three only like you to have 2 contracts max so any more and they are highly likely to reject you, so not that surprising really!0 -

Counter-intuitive it may be, but the fact that you are sensible with your money gives you a poor credit score.

I think it is not possible to use your Quidco account for someone else. The contracts you proposed to take out would have had to be in your own name.0 -
I placed my order again with quidco and I recieved this email from them in just 30 minutes! Such a shame...they think we're Nuts!! Network Problem! Some one should call them and realy tell them smthing!

An update.
Despite phoning and filling in an online form to cancel the first order AND being told it had been cancelled the phone still turned up yesterday - I refused delivery. Any payments with respect to this order, taken from my CC or bank account will be challenged by me and my local trading standards office.
I now have urchased elswehere. After many years with CPW - it only took the following actions by their staff to make me realise that they are not fit to conduct business ...
1. Take a perfectly executed online order - do nothing and wait for the customer to call and then lie to them in order to get them to resubmit any order details to invalidate the Ts&Cs of the Quidco cashback
2. Cutting me off in mid sentence when I'm trying to explain all this to member of their staff who denies everything.
3. The deceitfulness their staff in denying any knowledge of Quidco's cashback sheme.
I've now had a reply from my emails to the CPW hierarchy - but it's all too late.
Life's too short for this sort of hassle.
I hope some good will come of this thread by warning folks of the underhand tactics employed by CPW.0 -
I too suffered transaction decline, and they then processed it over the phone. Except I told the rep it was thru Quidco and IO wished to maintain the order ref. - he said it would keep the same transaction number and receive the same cashback. Complete lies, of course - I lost the cashback.
But then CPW is a dirty company it's fair to say. And most of their staff are children, not just in the shops but over the phone.
Please everyone contact Quidco to ensure CPw are kicked off.0
