Aria or scan? Ebuyer are awkward about RMA's but they will at least send a courier out at their expense to pick it up. Hardly amazon though.
Theres a reason amazon operate as they do.
When a non-uk company supposedly takes over 25% of all sales in the UK, its really not hard to understand why UK retailers (even big ones) are struggling to compete.
But hey, who cares about what the cost is long term (to the economy etc) when you can save a few quid today, right? Don't get me wrong, I used to be the same....until I saw the knock on effect it was having. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
!!!! the morality, you should have kept it and forgotten about it. Too many holier than thou types on here. If it was consumer to consumer then obviously do the right thing, but when there's a big business involved who cares. Many many years ago I remember getting a console game as a child and the shop assistant put the more recent version of the game in the box. I was made up when I opened it and did I return it? Did I balls.0

The OP might have forgotten about it but there is a reasonable chance that the retailer might have picked up the error sometime in the future. (possibly during an audit).
If this had happened, they would have had the legal right to pursue the OP for the money for up to 6 years from the sale and considering the price difference was in the region of £625, this is something that they may well have done.
Another point already mentioned is the warranty and any SOGA rights.
As the graphics card they had wouldn't have been the same one as on all of the paperwork, they would have been screwed had the card failed.0 -

Or Hermes, although I suspect they'd be at your door long before you get round to making it unless you happen to know off the top of your head how to make an explosive device! (Which I'm guessing most people wouldn't!)Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0
