HMRC Repayment Pending

Why are they updating the system today SammyW.?. Did my return online on 15th and saying cheque repayment pending. Does it take longer with cheques ?

If your SA is now showing request payment again it means it's in the hands of your local tax office for investigation I'm afraid

Also mine never offered request repayment it was done automatically ,does that mean anything ?

Mines been pending since the 14th, 3 of my work mates did theirs on the 13th and they got theirs last Friday so hopefully mine might go through by Wednesday.

Hi all

I filed my return on Sunday 12th April and I'm on the same boat. Mine still says pending but I haven't had the option to request repayment. Just want to know if anyone else has had that because I'm a bit worried that they are coming after me. I also did 2 friends one and the both had the option to request repayment but only 1 of them have been paid.

Need advice please

It happened to a friend of mine last year he kept requesting it but it kept going back to request a repayment, he then received a letter asking for info on his return. I'd ring up and be proactive and ask what info they want

And what if you never have had the chance of requesting a repayment but it says payment pending ????

So Sammy does it say you have a payment to claim again then? I just went on their and its still pending so I don't know what's happening, still no email back tho, although I have been told if it isn't in there by the 8th May ring back

Yep it's asking me to request payment AGAIN !!!!!
