HMRC Repayment Pending

Any1 help me what if they owe you a refund but never had any opportunity to request it ???? Also saying cheque repayment pending ?

Yes sammy ive also been told if you have requested it and it goes back to request again its been investigated.

Mine was submitted on 12th received on 13th still pending it seems as if there's a huge backlog and they are undertaking there random security checks. Will see what tomorrow's update holds for us all.

Anyone have a reply to there emails they sent to hmrc?

Hi Ash

If you didn't put bank info in then a cheque will be issued this is classed as pending like the others on here where it's in the process of being issued tomorrow the site updates some will change to issued where as the funds are on there way to you.

Just got emailed back, repayment still pending but, I was told I am under security checks and that's what's slowing down my bank repayment being issued, not that I'm under investigation, I'm sure they would state if that is the case, right? So as far as I know I'm still having the security checks taking place, so I could be waiting until next Friday before I can do anything about it they said, 8th May

Tbh ash anything seems to go at the moment, there does not seem to be any single pattern. This year has been one big joke, thanks for ur info earlier

They told me 8th may too, if ur still pending u should be ok, any thing more it would change to request payment again. I really don't know what they think they r gonna find .... Bloody idiots , getting right on my last nerve now

Was it saying request repayment when you first went on their website today? Did you contact them at all aswell? Hoping it doesn't change then, so hopefully it could change tomorrow then ? Good luck Sammy hope it all goes alright
