HMRC Repayment Pending

Got msg from hmrc and they said that the security checks were completed yesterday. They have no idea why I am still on pending. ) funny innit?

Still pending shock horror! On Tuesday it will be 4 weeks since completing return and still no clear answer of what is going on!

Hi all. I did my self assessment on the 6th of April, repayment consisted of £2180, it's still pending!! But check this out, I amended it in the 14th as I put down more expenses, got an extra £200, that went to issued on the 24th and in my bank the 27th. I rang this morning and they said a batch of returns on the 6th have all gone for checks. They said it will be here within two weeks! How can they send me the £200 if it's in checks!!

I submitted my tax return on tues 28th showed as pending for two days saying repayment today does this mean it's on it's way to my bank account?

Peachy. Yes. You should check your account after midnight.

So did you get your full amount paid or just the £200! Someone said if they check each amount that it can take anything from 6 weeks up to a year!
