So another email received today to say the repayment is going through security checks even though they said Monday it had passed security checks and was under check draft ready to be issued in a "couple" of days their words not mine! Now to be told it is under security checks! Did return 8th April really don't know what to think anymore as been told different things each time. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Ok so i submitted mine on the 7th and requested payment on the 8th, ammended on 16th as forgot bank details so did that...today it said i had to request repayment again?! I then realised id made a mistake on it and had ticked the exempt from
Class 4 nic which i am not. I then corrected that and resubmitted with my new calculation as to what im owed... Been a nightmare this year from day 1!! Does anyone know will they know to use my new submitted return and not my original?! Help!!

And also, do you think thats why its been held up because id ticked that i was exempt fromclass 4 nic, so now ive worked out what i owe for that out my return they might hurry it up?!

Thats what i did this morning as i knew something couldnt have been right and id made a mistake on my return! Just hope they hurry it up now!

Did my return online April 21 and got repayment paid into Bank yesterday. I am guessing the initial wave clogged things up and it is flowing better now.

Think those from 7/8/9 April are just floating around in system as they are processing payments from after these but I've been waiting nearly 4 weeks now and try can't seem to tell me what's happening either way they just keep changing date so now they are saying if I haven't heard back by 28th may they will chase it up but then it will be nearly 8 weeks by that time! Don't know whether to just cancel the payment and put it back through as an amendment and see if it gets dealt with quicker

those submitted from 6th to 13th may have been hit with the tech errors.
I'm in the same boat my HMRC page is messed up with navigation errors saying my return is not even complete, I have spoke with HMRC who have confirmed receipt of it and cannot answer as to why its not been issued yet.
I tried calling another number last night but was on hold for 45mins.


Im wondering I have no amendments to make but if I do make one will it re boot it in the system to process and get issued?
