I've got one from Malta at the moment , bought on a Saturday after last post- expected it with her by Thursday at the latest. I've told her to give it another week then get back to me- and at that point I'll suggest she opens a case.

Harvey Bobbles- we are not helped by the fact that ebay ignore our 1 day dispatch. I have items bought yesterday which I am printing labels for now and they are all coming up 'this service fails to meet the buyers expectation of delivery- please choose an upgraded service' (or something like that). How can something be bought last night be 'late' if I send it this morning by the postage method they have chosen?

Absolutely mega weekend though, I had to phone for more stock on Saturday as a special favour, and am having to phone again today

Yes someone flicked a switch for me too this weekend - somewhat marred by the cases against me and subsequent defects, not to mention that I can't claim for loss on an O.B.A.

I have had a few problems with Malta this year, buyers don't communicate and go direct to Paypal case.

I have had a few messages asking where is their item etc.. and then, a day later they open a case saying they haven't received it, I have had a few of them lately...

and they don't even reply to my messages.. and strangely the parcels which I have refunded, as they say they haven't received them, never get delivered back to me, e3ven though our business details/address etc is on the parcel...

I have now started leaving feedback, saying sorry that their parcel got lost in the post.. this way, if other sellers start doing this, they might stop trying to scam the system...

Ditto this. We must've had a couple of dozen over the last year or so and not a single one has been returned to me!

I always leave feedback to that effect...never seen anyone else do it though. It's not as bad as one of the customers trying to explain to me that it should of arrived on Friday and could I explain the delay when she paid for it on Friday and had received it on the Tuesday.

That really is a good idea to put 'sorry that the item was lost in the post' as feedback. Has this method been publicised through other forums and selling groups?

not that I know of. but I don't actively seek out other forums etc, as mse is the place where I normally find everything lol..

I was thinking about it for a while, but I was also thinking about the flip side of it, would it invite/give other people the idea of saying they haven't received their items, as they know you will refund, if that makes sense ... but in the end... I have started... stating in their feedback.. re- item posted out and not received... hoping it might deter them doing it again.. as it as mentioned in their feedback...

I also don't leave feedback straightaway, purely for this reason now...
