LW, Elastic 55 sounds good to me.
Happy computer vibes to everyone having trouble; me included. I was scheduled to see 2 students today; as it is still technically holiday I sent them both an email last week just to make sure they still wanted their sessions. No reply. Sent texts this morning and one replied saying she'd emailed me a few days ago that she couldn't come. No reply from the 2pm booking. Double-checked emails on Outlook (getting some fine, but curiously none with the business address) then Gmail web site - go message saying none are being delivered as it was insecure. !!!!!!? I haven't changed anything. Frantic email and text to my brother who deals with my business email setup - apparently he can see what happened and it's fixable. Then I went to zumba. Don't want to hassle him but I really want to know what's going on. It would explain the absence of a few things I'd expected to arrive, like the tender for that work I was after! Grrr

And to me! - you and LW are mere youngsters! I add 5 onto you this June - aagh!

Know what you mean Dusty - small panes are a problem whatever method. I need to acquire one of the smaller K****er heads for my kitchen door glass next.

Been to weigh - in stayed the same - another miracle! Been shopping, returned a call from someone called Judy for a Michelle - not me! Had to listen to hundreds of saved messages in order to do that so have now deleted them all!

Just about to have lunch - h-made mangetout soup that I did before I went out!!

Very windy and cold here - can't wait for some warmth to head north!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Further to my post here - I've got an unexpected inspection of my rented flat coming up on Thursday, and desperately need to make the flat even half-way presentable and, perhaps more importantly, keep it that way!

I've been reading up on the Flylady 'crisis cleaning' and I think that's a good place to start; once the inspection's over I will try Flylady longer term to try and sort out my flat - I need some inspiration / help as I loathe, loathe, LOATHE housework!

Can I come and join you experienced Flyers, for some support and encouragement, please?
Back after a very long break!

Welcome CCP. Sorry they have sprung the inspection on you. x

If I had the time would spend 20 mins in one room then move on to the next and do 20 mins in there then have 10 mins rest and carry on. I would wash up, vacuum, clean windows, clean sink and dust.
more organised people will be along shortly to give advice. x

It is a better day for ds2, I have taken him to the opticians successfully, to Mr t's to buy a reward and to his grandparents. Paediatrician's secretary rang back :)

3xwm is out on whirly as it is hotter out than in today.

off to do a HHC whilst DS2 is on a game system. Join in if you can.

    Hiya everyone :hello:

LW - gw vibes for your wrist and your IT stuff

    Morning everyone.

Lynne please get a solid step ladder - just concerned as my late D Mil fell off a stool and broke her back. x
It was a solid concrete step outside that I fell down and hurt my foot. I'm just using DH's drum stool to sit on so I can do some low-level 'flying' without having to use foot iyswim

I'm thinking the same - about being 55 years young and the weather :rotfl:

CCP - I'd put everything in boxes and hide them somewhere. Dust and hoover and clean kitchen and bathroom.

I'd join the HHC but will have to be HH paper sort :D

Slightly shell shocked here but in a good way, my flying hours will be limited for the foreseeable as I've only gone and fallen into a full time job! I'd had my hours doubled at work but now I've been offered full time from tomorrow morning for a while. Not sure how long for but it will be brilliant experience while it lasts and the money will be very handy.
Need to go and play catch up on today's lists now so that house ready for tomorrow's new start.

Haven't had a chance to back read yet so hope all are well
