    Morning all.

Dancemum, hope today is better for you.
LW - good to see you.

Yesterday before the paid stuff, I managed the dailies, all the dining room jobs from the list, hoovered and mopped downstairs and washed the throws on the sofas.

No flying this morning as I have to make myself look human then get a train to an actual office.

    Have a great day everyone.

LW I'm glad it is just IT and nothing else stopping you from being here.

Dancemum sending peaceful vibes and rapid appointment for you and your DS

Elastic amazing flying effort and bargain hunting

Steam mops - no experience; having lots of condensation in our house it's never been something I thought of trying.

I've seen a job advertised which I think I could do, I wasn't looking for one, just saw it on twitter so I'm planning on doing my CV and sending it to them. Not overly bothered if I don't get it so seems worth applying if that makes sense.

In exciting news my 'new cousin' has replied again, telling me bits about his family, he seems so pleased that I contacted him and would like our families to meet sometime which would be lovely.

    Today's plan:
    Check bank accounts
    Do CV
Complete DS3 option form with him
    Dust our bedroom
    S&S toilets and sinks
    Haircuts
DS3 having his braces put on
After that it's a bit sketchy, he may want to meet his friends afterwards depending on how it goes so I may go and look for carpets or I may just bring him home.
    Possible cricket tonight

I have my healthcare check at 10.45 - like I need someone to tell me I need to lose weight! Other than that there's nothing I've got to do today although I may go to the Scrap Store. There's still stuff to be put back into the LR though but I'd like to sort through some of the paperwork before it goes back in but I don't know whether I'm going to have time. DD wants to go out for the day tomorrow so we'll see what happens.

First things first though, I need a bath!

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

  • Morning everyone.

    Hugs Dancemum.
Elastic - I need some of your GUAG!
Lynne please get a solid step ladder - just concerned as my late D Mil fell off a stool and broke her back.x
Julie Jim - I got fed up of the nurse telling me to do just that and telling me about the impact on my health - so I did (lose weight that is) - and all health problems have magically disappeared! I feel like a different person and can recommend SW - you can fit in your favourite meals around the plan. I wasn't eating enough previously!

Dusty - have you tried using a Karcher window cleaner for the condensation - gave mine to DS for his and he uses it daily - it is now much improved. I have however had to buy myself a new one LOL!

Had a good day yesterday - did 8.1 km in two walks
Washed all upvc window ledges down and dusted 1 bedroom
Did ironing and washing and WUDUPA, rejigged some cupboards in bedroom and put loads of stuff away.
Did a lot of paperwork and cleared dining room table.

I was shattered but felt really good and slept better last night too!

Today I am avoiding breakfast before weigh in!
Going for another long walk first.
This afternoon - more paperwork and two or three phone calls are priority.
Need some change for possible car boot if fine on Saturday. Toying with idea of giving all away but lots is DS's and he could do with the extra cash atm.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning everyone

Hi LW good to know its your computer and not you that is on the blink!

Dancemum if mental health services where you live are anything like they are around here you have to shout loudly and keep shouting until someone listens. Meltdowns are a regular feature of my life so I know how it feels. Hugs.

Didnt sleep well last night, lots going around in my head but I need to get my act together as I have lots going on at work and I need to be concentrating.

And DS doesnt want to go back to school today which is unlike him, will have to go and wake him up in a minute.

    Have a good Tuesday everyone!

    Morning all

Hoping that dancemum's DS2 will wake up happy and stay calm today xx
Elastic, I need a new jacket. Would you like to be my personal shopper?
Good to see you LW :) Show the Netbook a large hammer and threaten to hit it (but don't actually do so!) - it might take fright and start behaving.

Yesterday DH took it upon himself to hoover the main rooms and steam mop the kitchen while I was out!!!!! :A I hoovered the utility and side porch when I put the Dy$on away.
I went to a scrapbooking group, did a bit of shopping, came home and felt so cold that I made spicy dhal soup for lunch and then curled up with a steaming :coffee: on the sofa, and promptly fell asleep for 2 hours :( Despite that, I did manage to achieve most things on my list, but spent ages last night looking for a missing form. I eventually found it this morning under the lid of the scanner

The master bedroom and bedding got done at the weekend, so I have another "light Flying" day today:
    - check finances
    - 5 emails
    - 1 letter
    - 3 phonecalls
-wipe small appliances and clean behind them :o
    - water / replace houseplants and daffodils-in-pots
    - plant out pansies in the front garden at the time when I would normally be eating breakfast :rotfl:
    - SW weigh-in and raffle tickets (may not stay to actual class but will eat my breakfast there after weighing, as do several other people ;) )
    - early lunch!
    - vol job 12.00-5.30
    - a bit more weeding and planting in the back garden after tea
    - QHI this evening while DH is out and I can watch TV of my choice :)

Catch up later... (((Hugs)) sticks and spoons all round x

JTTOU, I tried a friends thanks but it took so long on the individual georgian panes that I find using a pile of tea towels easier.

    WM on
Off to quicklly dust the bedroom.

Morning everyone. Building work won't be finished till tomorrow. After they finished yesterday the kitchen floor was swept and washed and benches done. Cement dust gets everywhere.

While waiting for them to arrive this morning I S&Sed bathroom. Will do what I can today then repeat kitchen routine. Got some photos sorted on the laptop yesterday. Being at home means I can do some things I've been putting off.

No more done in the bedroom yesterday so DD1 had to sleep in with me (paint smell was horrible anyway), DD2 was at our friends.
I won't be able to do much in there today as DD1's Grandma is coming to help me do my garden at some point today. I hate the garden :(
So just going to potter about til she gets here. First thing is to replace an extension cable as DD1's kitten knocked my tea over the one we were using  lucky she didn't burn the house down  I'm annoyed as it was the only surge protector one I had.
