  • Hi
Thanks for the info on Yexter they have now changed website address to the above. Exactly the same happened with me, same replies saying I had been unsuccessful.
Only when I emailed did I find out it was Yexter and email addresses were all fake.
I have cancelled my card thanks to posts on this site.

    Thanks again!
  • Thank goodness for this thread.

I was looking for a nintendo wii for my grandson - everywhere seems to be very short of stock - so I googled and came up with this site
    www.consolepackagedeals.co.uk
A Nintendo Wii + sports game for £128.99 seemed unbelievably good - I navigated their site to get a phone number (to check availability and delivery for Xmas) and none was available so I looked at the e-mail addresses to try and find more info and arrived at the name Yexter computers Ltd.

I googled Yexter and arrived here so I registered to inform others about this site also.

Thanks again especially Lauraloo for getting it started.

I just purchased 2 wii's from here!! i too thought it was unbelievably good.
i then tried to email them as my card details were declined and found out they were trading as yexter so i googled it too and found this site. have they actually taken money from your accounts? i got 2 so i might loose £257.98.
I called my bank and told them all about it and they said there is nothing showing on my account about them trying to take my money but ive to ring back later to check. what can i do if they do take my money? god im really worried now i cant afford to loose that ammount i have 3 kids and was only trying to get my xmas prezzies sorted out. if i loose all that money none of my kids will be getting any xmas presents!

The ironic thing is their "price" for a PS3 is actually way to high!

If they haven't already killed your card Call them back and cancel your card REGARDLESS of whether anything has been taken out YET. DO IT NOW !! stop reading and start dialing. It's defiantely a fraudulent operation so make sure they have a flag on your account to reflect this.
  • As the site kept telling me I was unsuccessful I tried five times using three different cards. I have contacted the banks and nothing has been taken
I have cancelled the cards used as the scam seems to be using your card information to remove money from your account. I would advise you to cancel the card that was used immediately.I am so glad that I read earlier threads and thanks to everyone. The site cannot be emailed I have tried today but they come back unable to deliver. The site I used was consolepackagedeals.co.uk
  • we also got scamed today on this site luckily cancelled card straight away please please do not use this site http://www.consolepackagedeals.co.uk  at the people in the world who scam

I contacted Mark Sneddon earlier today by phone and initially spoke to his wife who was more than a little shocked when I asked to speak to Mark about his website, later he rang me after work and he confirmed he'd tried to use one of the sites, I explained what had happened and advised him to cancel his cc. I gotta say he and his wife (middle aged scottish couple) sounded genuinely mortified when I told them their card may have been fraudulently used to set the site up.

So it would 'seem' the fraudsters did it again as they did with Richard Curtis's card from earlier in the thread, they took one of the harvested cards (Mr Sneddon's) and used that to register the next site. Looks like a scam with legs as they just run the site for a short period of time, harvest the cards then setup the next with one of the stolen card details and repeat it again.
