  • The web address was www.webexclusivebundles.co.uk and my fault you can't find anything doing a search cause it was Yexter not Yester. Sorry
  • I came on here to warn others because we've had problems with an internet site, not to cause any disagreements. Sorry I'm not constantly on a computer and can't see if anyone has replied to my note. Believe me if you want, my conscience is now clear.
  • Do you still have the confirmation email? If so, display the full headers, and
    copy them into this thread.

Hi these are the confirmation and cancellation emails, i've had to copy and paste and replace my personal details with *****

    Hello *****************************************

    *****************************************

Unfortunately we were unable to process your order.

    Possible Reasons for Online Decline.

    - Invalid information entry. This could mean credit card information may have been entered incorrectly, thus being declined. Or personal information requested, such as D.O.B in the format MonthMonth/dd/yy, Did not match records held at the issuing bank. Or delivery information was invalid.

    - You may have insufficient available funds on the card in which case another card may solve the problem.

    - Shipping address may be different from the billing address. For security reasons we only ship orders to the billing address.

    - You may have requested the 60 day refund and still tried to place another order, which is forbidden.

    - Incorrect information supplied to shipper.

If you think you may have made one of the errors above then you may go back to the homepage and try again.

    Thankyou

A couple of questions for you

    1. Did this company actually debit your card as payment for the items.
    2. Has your boyfriend advised his bank of the fraudulant WU transfer and if so is he getting his money back.

The site currently shows an under construction page.

No, no money was debited, normally we would have used a credit card and are very careful with our debit cards and bank details but we had just cancelled the credit card as we've just got a mortgage. We've never had a problem buying on the internet in the past so thought it would be safe. He has informed the bank, they've cancelled his card and put in a visa dispute but it's down to the fraud team as to whether they think it is fraud. We don't know anyone abroad and have never used WU before so hopefully we'll get the money back. I cancelled my card just in case, i'm not saying it is definately this site we just can't see any other way of his details getting out. It's a hard lesson learnt that's why I wanted to warn people.

Lauraloo - you are not alone in this. The same thing happened to me around 3/4 weeks ago only I got my emails the other way around (cancellation first and then confirmation from someone called Heather). I tried to contact them to ask what was going on but no reply. They were based in Guernsey so they didn't appear on companies house - apparently Guernsey based companies are registered differently. The site appeared to be secure with the yellow padlock in the corner etc but I just had a gut feeling that something was wrong. So I rang my card company and explained and they just cancelled my card and gave me a new one. They did take all the web details though and shortly after I noticed that the site appeared to be "under construction."

So to the poster who insinuated that Lauraloo was winding you all up, no she wasn't and I believe that others have been scammed in the same way.

Now got a DS from Argos!
  • Not that i'm glad it happened to you Ivory Tinkler but I am glad you can back me up. I feel quite offended that I came on here for the first time to warn people and I cause a disagreement and am not believed. I can't believe a) that people would think i'd come on just to make something up and b) that someone would make something like that up, it's not like I'm personally trying to get money off people, i'm trying to save it so cheers and i'm happy you sorted it before anything happened like it did to us beerchug.gif
