You're kidding aren't you.

Nice to See Ivory Tinkler is another newly registered user . . . not insinuating anything at all0

I really don't know why we bother! People aren't going to want to put warnings like this on if all you get is sarcastic remarks. Feels like i've just walk into a village pub and am not welcome. Sorry for trying to be kind and warn you all about a scam, if i'm unfortunate enough to have it happen again I won't be letting you know, sorry for those who actually believed me but i've got better things to do. And £384 isn't a small amout of money to us when trying to up a house!0

fudgeukraine - I've been registered on this site for years under a different name but couldn't remember the login details so re-registered yesterday to highlight this problem for others.
lauraloo - don't worry, we both know that we are telling the truth and sorry to hear that you were actually scammed out of money before you had a chance to cancel the card. Hope it all works out for you and you get reimbursed.0 -
Another MSE'er posted about this dodgy site in July, so I think the OP is perfectly legit.

Hi I was looking at their offer. I wanted a blue DS when I tried to email them all the email addresses were bogus.
They are calling themselves YEXTER COMPUTER LTD and GAMPING POWER UK INC LTD
I was a tad suspicious at the price so I googled them - although the link I found was a Google Sponsored Link. Can't find anything apart from this thread about Yexter and nothing about Gaming Power.
I think I'll give this one a miss0 -
The website seems to have reappeared as www.gamingpower.co.uk. And it's *still* a Google sponsored link. According to Nominet, the registrant this time is:
Registrant:
richard curtis
Registrant's address:
40 selwyn crescent
ellenbrook hatfield
hertfordshire
AL10 9NN
GB
The site seemed somehow suspicious, so I emailed them before placing an order, only to find that all their published email addresses bounced. A little googling led me here, and confirmed my suspicions. Does anyone know how to contact Google to complain about one of their sponsored links? They certainly don't make it easy to contact them.0 -
Given that they are trading from Guernsey. You could alert Guernsey trading standards ts@commerce.gov.gg"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

Hi, I'm able to add additional authenticity to this post. Same thing happened to me only I didn't get as far as getting any emails back - the web site just took my details as in an order then appeared to crash.
I've cancelled my card.0
