Pity you were not near to me as I would happily babysit.
Hope that you can sort something out.

Thanks beanie, I often think hw lovely people on mse are. I've been Facebook friends with a few for over 5 years you really do feel part of their lives. I'm certainly more upfront financially with them than friends I see three times a week. :rotfl:

  • Have had a quote to finish my house £10,000 I'm awaiting another quote from someone who has just finished some work on a family members place. My dd3 has been off nursery all week and result her dad actually had two days off to have her. My friends rallied for the other day and I had two days off.

Inspired by Lincoln potter I've met three dates for coffee after work. I don't know what's wrong with me as I don't consider myself particularly choosy and obviously my job means I have to talk to people a lot, but I don't want to see any again.

The academic was just weird, just too touchy feely. Very gentlemanly and obviously clever, likes the finer things in life, but I didn't feel comfortable with how he was trying to maul at me at 5 on a Thursday. Next was an OT at a hospital he was lovely but I just wasn't physically attracted to him, not even a little bit he tried to kiss me and my stomach turned.t bowling near exes house after school. Tonight I've been out with a regional sales manager at leat he was sociable and chatty, I quite liked him until he said to me can I ask a question does the age gap bother you, he's 7 years younger so 24, it wasn't bothering me until then but since reflecting it is a bit young and he moaned abut his ex and contact with kids a Lot, as in she uses access as a weapon.

My friends are all telling me to get back with ex, but no thanks. I really can't this time. He's moved on and De to stuff that's gone on my manager wants me to go to occupational health I'm avoiding that. Maybe Martin will get a dating section:rotfl::rotfl:

Great challenges and completing them will be very rewarding. It must feel strange being out there on the dating scene but you also need some time for you. You are more than just a mummy. Maybe ex will commit to having the girls in the evening for you, you also need a break even if it's just bath, book and early night!

  • Went to have a consultation about my hair and was told it wouldn't go blonde easily and they wouldn't recommend. Not first time over the years I've heard this. Have accepted ill have to stay with dark, Mediterranean h hair. My friend chopped abut 15th off the bottom for me for free. Which i thought was better as feeling a bit old to have bianca gascoigne mermaid hair. Although if mine looked like hers I'd have kept it, in reality it was a curly, frizzy mess. Dd2 was upset though and doesnt like the new look. Didn't bother having acrylic nails either as not practical at work but will do my own tomorrow.

I've had a reaction to some face cream so may look a state for my date tomorrow night. Kids are away for one night only I'm going for cocktails. Was going to treat myself to new hair, nails and clothes but in the mse style friend has done my hair, I'll paint my own nails, I have loads of clothes I never wear as rarely go out, will be myself.

Day Two sugar free and feeling quite good. Increased water consumption to 3 litres and no headaches. Almost a no spend day but paid £2 for drinks, biscuits for kids, at church.

Ah yes, the old 'drink so much water I'm too busy in the loo to eat sugar' strategy :D. Glad it's working and good luck for your date :T.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
