Now as I have said before, we have been very fortunate to go visit some stunning places on this beautiful planet of ours, we went to the grand canyon, death valley, sonora pass, yosemite all of which was stunning and breathtaking. But we had to travel to see a stunning place. This holiday we went to places and the scenery was stunning on the way, we saw breathtaking things and we dont know the name of them or even where exactly they are so I could tell you its on the road from Bealach Na Ba to Dingwall ... but I dont know exactly where and what the place is called, we saturated ourselves in scenery and I fell in love with my country all over again.

I wish my camera hadnt been stolen so that I couldve take better pictures and we have decided we will go back but next time buy a good camera so we can take those shots ...

back to reality with a bump I spose :)

what a mental road ... and what an amazing view

From there we headed down to Aberfeldy for two nights to finish off the holiday ... oh what a time we had

We nearly watched someone reverse over the side of this. I went to Applecross on the back of my then boyfriends bike - Twas a wise decision.

we really are Beanie, you know if we lived in the USA and we said to friends i'm going to Scotland for my holidays our friends would think us so lucky, and yet when we mention it here some people look at us as if we have two heads ... and wonder why on earth go there for holidays .. sometimes its hard to appreciate what we have :)

yikes that sounds scary, we came in on the coastal road, that was mental enough as it was, Mr El wouldnt take the caravan that way, there was a truck coming down and we had to reverse backwards to give it space ... the two of us were panicking, and that was the safer road ... that Bealach Na Ba is just one pure mental road... how was it on a bike?

If you go to Scotland for holidays, you will have over a thousand heads - one on your shoulders and a thousand buried into your flesh, drinking your blood...

It was okay on the back but he'd been riding a couple of decades. I'd been passed my test about 18 months!
