According to Rightmove you live in a block of flats, apologies for late dispatch which will now happen tomorrow so should turn up Wednesday - lucky it isn't eBay
I was reading Martin's weekly tips email and so tried the water meter calculator - we would pay more than double, to benefit from a water meter I reckon you would either need 2 or fewer people in a household or be very pongy.
Tax return now complete, can't quite bring myself to make the payment though, it is too painful so will hang on to the money till the deadline day, it only saves a tenner in interest but every little helps....I think....0 -
Flats are really common round here, (but many are restricted for retirees).
Never owned one but lived in several.
We've peaked, housing-wise. Semi-detatched in a "village" between several good shopping towns. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Out of interest, how much do you pay? I think the calculator is flawed. I put in my details, without stating that I am already metered, and it calculated my bill to be just short of double what it actually is. Maybe we take short showers or something. I know we use the short cycle on the washing machine a lot, but even so...Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Apologies for quoting myself. I think I've worked this out. Our main toilet uses 4l per flush as opposed to 7l standard. We shower Aussie fashion, so that probably saves a significant amount too. Plus the short cycles on the washer also save money. Add that up and we're probably under by the right amount. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
