**sigh**
I have woken up after 3 hours sleep. It's one of those nights when it's too hot to sleep under a duvet and too cold without.
Actually I'm starting to feel so tired that I might just fall back to sleep anyway.0 -

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
That's considered politer than saying "Phewww! What foul stuff."
When my kids were little we had a rule about food:
You don't have to like it, you don't have to eat it, but you do have to be polite about it.Its suddenly become beautifully sunny! I wasn't expecting that. The weather forecast was for grey. Windy, though. Are NPs prepared for flooding?
My house is at the top of a long gentle slope (and thus protected from flooding) but just at the bottom of the steep slope beyond (thus protected from wind). Having lived through the 2007 Gloucestershire floods (lots of houses flooded, including some belonging to friends/workmates of mine, but loads more people affected because most of the county without mains water for a few weeks), I will never again be complacent about flooding.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Leftover turkey here (yes, really). We had a catering-sized turkey this year (well, it was free). So 4.8 kg of butterflied turkey breast between 4 of us . Bro and I were sent back home with considerable chunks of it.
Tonight: streaky bacon (which I was also sent back with; was surplus to requirements last week), a red onion, some garlic, two types of mushrooms, a couple of chillies, 1.5 courgettes, some creme fraiche and a bit of pasta. Very nice, if I say so myself0 -

Did you read the book 'The Avocado Baby' when you were little? Either way I think you should read it to the twins when they're older0 -

Just wondering if Hamish (or anyone else) knows whether the 747 seats are as comfortable as the A380 ones (we've got 17 D/E/F/G in the refurbushed cabin)....not flown on a 747 in yonks
Sorry CK, it is my turn to play catch up. Depends on the plane and whether it has been upgraded as much as anything. I have heard that on some older fleet that they have yet to upgrade first, so first is being sold as club.. Nice if you can get it. Depends on the airline too. One Chinese airliner runs their entire a380 as economy!
Also, to those who said about going to the theatre.. There is a website, I think called something like theatre monkey that tells you what seats are like. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

There is a reason why many new businesses fail.
And sometimes established businesses too.
Besides, knowing when to give up and what to give up on is an important life skill.... "Women and cats will do as they like" on one side, and round the other side "Men and dogs will just have to get used to it".
Other way round in my marriage. LNE did what he liked; I got used to it. These days DS does what he likes; DD complains because she refuses to get used to it. In other respects, DD does what she likes; I am used to it. We've never had a cat, but when we had a dog he good naturedly put up with whatever the humans did.HAMISH_MCTAVISH wrote: »Me too, think my sleep cycle is wrecked after 5 days of eating/drinking/merrymaking,
Mine too - although it's the late nights and morning lie-ins for me rather than anything specifically food/drink related. Am NOT looking forward to work on Monday.Do you know anyone who's bereaved?
