Not seen it, but is any JB film really suitable for young kids?

Just had an 'I know your face from somewhere, but can't think where' moment. I know who it is, but that's not the face I'm thinking of......

There's a path down the side of The Thames. It's great for cycling.

I suspect at least some of that is going to get f****d when the stupid garden bridge is built. What a waste of money that is going to be, and it will end up being mostly public money from what I can make out. Plus it won't be a public space, you won't be allowed to cycle on it, parties of more than (I think) 4 not allowed... Grrrr Spit!

Mind you we're not much better here in Liverpool, they building new bridge over Mersey at Runcorn/Widnes. At present it's free to use the old bridge. ONce new one built we'll have to pay to use either of them (Though I think OH said old one would be for cyclists and pedestrians only). So you won't be able to get out of Liverpool at all without paying a toll charge. Pen us Scousers up! ;) Lets face it our Government don't want us getting out of our ghetto!

Given the simple fact that the old is totally unfit for purpose these days, I can only presume that building it is supposed to get people out of and into Liverpool. At the moment it's horrendous sometimes, I live a few minutes walk from the old bridge, so I can consider it my specialist subject!

I don't much like it being tolled, but everything that everyone wants, can't be had because there's lack of money. Full dsclosure, the toll is unlikely to affect me as I fall into the area of x many free crossings a year and I don't need to cross the Mersey at that point most of the time.

Saturday night, I went over into Liverpool and saw the Chinese State Peking Opera perform Farewell My Concubine. No idea what it was going to be like and certainly the music and singing is unusual to Western ears;), but it was absolutely riveting, the costumes were fantastic and the two hours flew by. It's showing in Sadlers Wells in the next few days and well worth a visit if anyone wants to see it. I think half of Chinatown were there, probbly impossible to get a Chicken Sweet and Sour that night:D.

I still find it funny that you only have to pay to leave Wales.

It is rated a 12+ in the UK, so under 12s need to be accompanied by an adult.

That's wrong, you pay to go into Wales.

It's M here which is basically the same. A lot of films that I think would be 18 in the UK are M15+ here.

That shows how often I go to Wales. I don't think I've ever driven myself to Wales. Nothing against the place just no reason to go there.

Being dangerously not nice people, the stats would suggest that you wouldn't want to get sick or have your children educated in Wales.
    I think....

To be fair I don't really want to get sick anywhere.

Why don't you want to get your kids educated in Wales? Annoying accent or strange tendency to say "Bore da" of a morning?

Nope they decided that SATS were too onerous on students (= allows teachers' performance to be monitored) and so scrapped them and then watched as GCSE results fell off a cliff.
    I think....
