Thank you all for the birthday wishes. We had a lovely Carvery lunch, then dessert and coffee. After we got home we had to wait some time before we had room for a cup of tea :D

GDB So glad the wedding went well. Our DD married a very nice banker too. He's currently a student nurse.....poorer but happier.

Pastures New Do you think your Dad would have minded being cremated in shorts? I expect your Mum minded the idea of it though :(

Doozergirl This is an 11+ area too, and our DGS is in year 5 at a State primary; he gets quite a bit of homework, which doesn't take him long to do once he actually starts doing it, but he wastes a lot of time procrastinating, and his parents dread what he'll be like once he gets to senior school and really has a lot!

Of course, I won't throw my trousers out. After all, they'll scarcely be worn.

I've just finished 'my' homework on comparative creation myths which came complete with a mark scheme in the question. I struggle to think how I will manage to do all the homework once all three are at secondary school.
    I think....

You jest. I have a friend with 3 at university who struggles to keep up with their assignments. Another friend acts as the alarm for her daughter at uni 200 miles away!

At least she is getting a well rounded education.

So, I'm about to get the first of two tender documents written, having just spent 15 hours in the office and 2 commuting.

Praying I don't fall asleep, as every second is counting at the moment!

I'd be thinking less about the power of prayer and more about the power of coffee!

    Already in hand.

I don't drink black coffee, but it became necessary :)

    Happy Birthday Ivy xx
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
