Hyundai is very good and the mse option. Apremium brand will not make me a better person but they have refinements that lessen my difficulties in moving freely, and I felt a bit more like my oldself in them. We are paying cash and I am questioning why I feel uplifted by them. And why this shallow "soft" issue makes me willing to spend more than double the hyundai cost.
Vanity?
BTW, there are some of the BMW 2 series tourers second hand on the market. Have to say I sat in one in the showroom and felt very hemmed in - but that's just me. I want plenty of glass for good visibility and as much space around me as possible.0 -
Hyundai give a 7 year warranty, value that against the feeling of driving a decent make.
Difficult one, I used to drive a hyundai and felt it was all a bit plasticy. My Honda Jazz was my favourite car. I like the features of the Juke but it doesn't feel as solid as the Jazz.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Hope so. It's great that he's blossoming in such an amazing way.

Ah uni is still 2 years away for him yet....
Re girls, the attraction is already there, the summer was spent having my wheelchair pushed in a completely different direction to what I wanted it to as he was following an attractive female bottom and got distracted :rotfl:We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

I've just had the pleasure of parking the new car in an unfeasably small space. I never had the skillset for parallel parking, so I now feel like a more accomplished driver.:D
Always puzzled that it was part of the US driving test way way before we ever included it in ours, what with their huge parking lots compared with our titchy ones. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
I'm still struggling with the parallel parking in my new car, think it is more to do with the fact I am scared of it being new than anything else as I have never ever had a problem with parking in spaces only a tiny bit bigger than my car.
Either that or I will have to start trusting the parking sensors and cameras....We made it! Mine's too basic to have such technowhizzery. It's just very tiny and can turn on a sixpence.
I'm slightly worried by how quiet it goes when I stop at the lights. Have to check the rev counter to be sure it hasn't stalled.
Actually after driving an automatic for so many years I bet I'll stall this car a lot! There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

So that would be outerhertfordshire15 then???Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Mine is not at all tiny, although it is shorter than my old car. Bonus of it being higher up is that I can enter and exit the car a hell of a lot easier than I used to be able to and without dislocating my hips/shoulder plus I can see better coming out of the junction because it is higher up, meaning no more straining to see if anything is coming and doing my back in in the process!
Downside is I can't see where my bonnet or boot ends as yet although that is getting easier. We made it! The main criteria is surely your mobility and what makes life easiest for you. Also how you will feel after sitting in it for some time. Everything else is secondary. Try to ignore the badges - if they all had the same badge which one would be best for you?

Sound advice there from hjd.
I have nothing to add as I have spent the past 18 months procrastinating over new cars. Still, the old girl keeps running and passing MOTs, so not in a hurry. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.
