Thank you Doozergirl. That helps. If pondering enables you to write like that, then you're good at pondering. The support of the NP has helped a lot over the last 7 years, and it still does.
Today is another day. The sun in shining, and today I only need to deal with today. Tomorrow has enough troubles of its own, and I am not going to think about them now.
Doozergirl, jelly, and any other NP within striking distance of Birmingham ... The three of us did lunch a while ago. Anyone interested in doing that again?

Another brilliant law coming into force in the next days is concerning bags at Shops.
They now must charge you.
Yes there is lots of small print but the good news is there will be less plastic made, used and thrown on the floor to blow around the Town.
Bags for life is the only way to go.
It is strange to begin with but you get used to it and it becomes second nature to carry your own bag. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

If I'd not read the papers in the last 2 days I'd have not known of either for a long time.
There's always so much changing, it'd be impossible to keep on top of everything and know it/understand it.
I can still smoke in the car (no kids). I've no alarms to fit as I'm not a LL.
Panics.

I'm not an architect, so not sticking up for them, but in the realm of salary to level of training required (the same as a doctor), architects are quite poorly paid.
It makes you think twice when faced with 7 years of training.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Sorry to hear your news. The college relocated to a new building costing over £60m a few years ago. Now it is short of cash. Presumably, someone forgot that what goes on inside the building is more important than the building. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

...bringing us back to the subject of overpaid architects!

I'm likely to fall foul of this new law, as I am in the habit of stopping at the local Sainsburys corner shop on my way home - i.e. without having planned it, so I don't have a bag with me.
That being said, I think it's a good idea. I was driving along the ring road the other day, and near each layby there were so many plastic bags in the trees or by the wayside. It's such a litter problem, and causes problems for wildlife.
In other news, I have signed up for a DIY evening class run over 10 weeks at a local school. I've no real idea what will be covered, but I thought it might be useful to have a better idea about stuff :j0
