You will glad to hear baby Jenson was born yesterday evening at 9lb 1oz, everybody is fine and doing well.
Will pop back with a picture when time allows.
Congratulations to one and all :beer:To be fair, Abbott was an utterly crap PM, truly awful.
He got the knife in the back and deserved if. He was a very good opposition leader but a horrible PM.
Aussie politics are interesting.
Was it Abbott who ousted the previous (female) PM?
If so, I remember thinking he sounded utterly horrid at the time.PasturesNew wrote: »I'd expected Sheffield to be "quite foreign/different" so wasn't surprised at seeing what I thought was some bizarre Yorkshire language sign

Mr Abbott ousted the previous PM by winning a general election. I suspect that you are thinking of Kevin Rudd. Ms Gillard got rid of him so he returned the favour a couple of years later.
The funny thing about Mr Abbott getting the boot is that he's 4 days shy of serving 2 years at which point the PM's pension scheme kicks in: $600k a year plus unlimited business class flights and a paid for office with staff. Instead he gets...nothing!0 -

At least it didn't say pederasts crossing which might have made you jay walk instead...
Wonderful pics Percy, I was going to suggest that phone snaps would suffice rather than studio quality if you could bring yourself to...I think....0 -

There is a women form bounty doing photography, Mrs Percy let her do it to shut her up to which she showed me the pictures which are decent pictures, but then the price which the cheapest was £100 for 10 pictures.
A bit much when you are a photographer and know I could get the same/better pictures in 30 minutes (to which I will very soon).
I have heard a few complain about these free shoots you get where they don't let you pick which ones are free (so basically if you want the best pictures you can 'upgrade' for a lot much money.
Does make me think about the photography side of my business, it may be worth getting in with baby photos, I do have a willing model to practice with now.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

Huge congratulations Percy and Mrs Percy, he is absolutely gorgeous!
The photos were certainly a lot more reasonable when we had the boys, you could get a large package of pictures for really not that much money, it was certainly affordable to most new parents back then (maybe they were desperate for customers back then and as demand has increased, so have the prices...rather like house prices!)
Pick the car up in the morning, I am a mixture of excited and blooming scared. I have to negotiate a roundabout junction almost straight out of the dealership that I don't like doing in an 18 year old car, let alone a brand new one! I should be ok once I have got past that and onto the A14 but goodness knows what my reaction will be when it stops at the first junction/traffic lights I come to (it has stop start technology), my history has always been that when a car engine stops at junctions/traffic lights it either means I have stalled it (unlikely) or something has gone badly wrong with the car (more common). Think there may well be a short moment of panic before I remember it is supposed to do it.
James is now back at uni, Josh goes on Saturday and the plan at the moment is that I am doing the driving but I am also very sensibly taking a family friend with me who is a declared driver for the car, just in case I become too fatigued. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Speaking of new cars. Any NPs got recommendations for small cars - heard some good things about compacts from Korea/Japan.There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0
