    I think I would.

But today's probably not a good day to judge.
I spent a great deal of today giggling and blushing.

    I think I have a crush :o

    So sweet! Diet coke moment?

Yorkie, Sorry for the situation you are in. Your Mum sounds amazing, certain of my relatives would be demanding visits and that they not be left on their own.

I agree with others, seeing for yourself may take some of the anxiety away.

Not going to say anything else as don't want to spoil anything :silenced:

    I can't keep quiet.

I watched it. What a total a$$!! How many girls would be put off ever dating him? Shallow behaviour, so humiliating for her.

Overjoyed for James and Emma. I think he is lovely and really enjoyed how well they get on together. I would like them to keep working. :)

After a 5 month break of doing covers, middle son's latest drum cover..

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eurSf8plIg&feature=youtu.be

I've seen his other cover which will hopefully be uploaded next, absolutely awesome but probably another week or two before that goes live.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Ok. Update.

As a result of yesterday its been decided I probably am not currentl stable enough for the proposed surgery. So, I am still on waiting list. Its also still debate able whether its the right move, and for the first time yester day i wondered whether it is. Anyway, I've got time to make up my mind, which before yesterday would have been poor outcome, but now seems a good thing.

Also good is that it wS raised by some people, like new endocrinologist, that not treating things like fibroids, was ridiculous as its minor op and won't be helping my day to day life and so has been put on table to see about action. Also, more help with fatigue managment and another request to go to refer me to some sort of fatigue scheme.

I DID feel this was a really individualised focus from NHS at last and that I was being treated as a person not a statistic or someone ornary or an annoyance to comply, physically or otherwise. In fact, I would go further and said I was really impressed. There are a few things, like when they check for things and don't tell you what they are looking for ( for example, they did decide to run tests yesterday after all and give a physical, and the endo was looking at some physical indicators from just one side of me and I said ' you'll see it better on the other side actually' and she looked up at me and I said , ' your looking for 'x?' And she nodded a bit short like she had been caught out or, I shouldn't know that, and I pointed out it was more pronounced on the other side, and io knew that was odd for it not to be evenly spread, and that it was even weirder where it was most pronounced.

They say there is going to be more contact in the future than in proceeding months/ yearish. We'll see. There was no wait or anything at the hospital, but in was there a long time. They sent me out twice me out to have little conversations ( I didn't like that ....I understand that there are things about procedure / or funding rules etc that they might not think I should be a party too, but things about the degradation of my body and where the balance rests I'd like to hear, even if its unpalatable or unflattering.

That's how they keep themselves in work....

The process should be a simple man turning up to have a quick look and talk and jot down what's OK/what's not ...not the long/complex time-consuming process it is.

You put a lot of effort into asking for what you want, only to be told "No"....rather than being able to choose from what you would be allowed.

Same with a rejection. They just say "No. Start again" ...whereas they could have (verbally) said "No. That wall needs to just go back 1' and that's fine" - with the builder leaning over to draw in that new wall and them then looking down at the new line and 10 seconds later saying "Yep, good to go".

Oh, they couldn't do that! That would be sensible!

    ETA caught up now.

Yorkie So sorry about your Dad. Best wishes to him and to all of you.

lir Sounds like a long and tiring day! I hope things will now be better coordinated. Sometimes they're not very good at treating the whole person.

Nikkster The tricky bit is when you've had a dream about the person in question and then you see them at work the next day and wonder uneasily whether they had the same dream :o

Excuse my ignorance, but what's a diet coke moment?
Bear in mind I watch very little TV so if it's an advert I won't have seen it.
