It's hard PN.
At least she shouldn't be in pain: morphine is excellent at dealing with that.
Try to look after yourself while all this is going on. It's easy to skip meals and things because you're distracted/sad/annoyed.
Best wishes from a long, long way away.0 -
It is very hard PN.....and all too fresh in my mind, unfortunately
Take care of yourself x
PS glad to hear the Continuing Care has been addressedMortgage-free for fourteen years!

Nothings been done to it, and it's still a dump and might also need some structural repairs. I wouldn't be surprised if it makes £210,000 at the Auction. So someone could pocket a 25% profit for the 18 months they've owned it. If it sells for any more it'll be Auction fever.
Just sold for £221,000. So the previous buyer made a 32% profit in 18 months without doing anything. Utter madness!0 -
PN, as others have said, make sure you look after yourself.
And if you need anything, even just someone to lean on, please ask us.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Thanks for the kind words everyone. As other posters can testify, there are much more important things in life.
I'll keep looking. The way things are, finding another job is becoming a lot more of a priority. That said, worse things can happen. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Focus on the happy times & lovely memories, rather than be sad, if you can.PasturesNew wrote: »Very sad. Everything changes after this. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

It is shocking isn't it. At least no one on this thread made a 29.5% gross profit on a property in 14 months earlier this year on a property they had done nothing to except renting out with no voids for the 14 months....
Don't forget all those expenses like stamp duty, legal fees, agents fees etc.....I think....0 -
Send strong men......my hay is coming in this weekend. Only keeping two hundred bales I think though, but all needs to get out of the fields none the less.

Yeah - but you're a NP. You have to make allowances !
Don't get me wrong, anyone who takes the risk, deserves the reward.0
