Don't buy a Vauxhall, Viva!!
Seriously, don't.0 -
Thanks Gen, no worries.
I wouldn't buy a Holden in a month of Sundays. I have had two before. On the first one the windscreen never fitted the hole, which was the wrong shape. This resulted in three years of either 1) flooded footwells or 2) windows glued in so tightly that they cracked at every sign of sunshine. The second shredded cambelts like there was no tomorrow, meaning I got through three engines in 47,000 miles. Both were company cars. NEVER again, even if they do relaunch the Viva.
I'm more likely to go for an Audi, Mazda, Nissan or Hyundai - much better reliability. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I think it's time to change the Juke. Nissan as a marque seems not as solid as Honda or Mazda, but having been spoilt by gadgetry I'm not sure what to choose.
Criteria is small/ medium size car with high ride position. Reversing camera. Automatic transmission.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I'm not sure how the prices translate in the UK but if I was buying a new car on a budget to keep for a decade I'd need a really good reason not to buy a Kia.0

Get several quotes (but I know you'd do that anyway). I got my panels from EvoEnergy and was impressed with them - the salesman knew his stuff and was informative without any hard sell, and the guys doing the installation lived up to high expectations created by the salesman. I say that because it's true, but if you'd be interested in getting a quote from them, then I can refer you and get a bonus for it if you end up going with them, please?
I don't have a diverter, but then I'm getting a much higher FiT than is available now, so it doesn't matter quite so much. If I was more organised, I would invest in timers and things for appliances like the washing machine and dishwasher, so as to run them when sunshine is forecast. However I am not that organised, so I usually run them when we have run out of clean things to wear and/or eat off, regardless of the weather.
Thanks Lydia - do I just contact them and mention you or do you need to contact them first?I think....0 -
Someone's crashed into my car in a car park and driven off.
Park distance control is screwed, bumper is ugly and I have rather a lot of white paint on my red car. Have to phone the manager of the Travelodge tomorrow to probably find that the CCTV doesn't work or they can't be arsed to look. It's not a big car park.
It's definitely an insurance claimEverything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Be interested in what you choose as my parents are looking for something similar although there list of wants includes cruise control which is often not even an option on smaller cars. They looked at a Juke but felt it was ridiculous that something so large on the outside could be so small on the inside.I think....0 -
