Not caught up yet but just saying Hi to fc123, we have missed you. Sorry life has been so full-on. Do you still own the seaside house, or did you decide to sell it and look again when the time is right?0

...I never really left, I just didn't post as everything I would have written would have been all ' misery, doom, gloom, grumbling bassstadd' type of stuff.....so when my headspace is in that mood (or stressed out) I abstain as you would all block me.;)As if we would! Everyone puts up with my whinging (or at least is polite enough not to say otherwise).
Lovely to see you posting again btw
They put up with mine too.
Please don't feel you can only come on here when you are feeling fine and able to be upbeat. This is the *nice* people's thread, not the *happy* people's thread. You are welcome any time. When life is dragging you down, we would be there to do our little bit to boost you back up again.
Nice to hear from you now, anyway!Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

I would now like a goat. They are cuuuute.
As are piglets.
Good day out despite the showers.
There was a naughty border collie. She was herding ducks around a duck agility course. As soon as her handler (not sure what else he should be called) tended his back or was distracted commentating to us she would start creeping up on the ducks instead of sitting or lying down where she's been told to stay.
Made me chuckle
Bumped into the neighbours on the way home and have scored myself an invitation to dinner
Edit: disappointing on the beer front and no flamethrowing tractors0 -
Two week count down. Fields are sprayed and horses cannot go out. Well, they can, because it kept some back, but one owner doesn't want hers where I kept back full time so I'm bringing in and out. I'll be glad when they can all go out again. Only I or fir will lead one of the horses ( yes, not even client will lead it) road side to the field, so they will have stay either out ( better) or in when I'm away. This has gone down not well.0

An allegation of fraud with the voting has been made with regard to last night.
I'm not allowed to say more than this now, however looking at the evidence, it seems as though it could be completely genuine.💙💛 💔0 -

I read this morning about Macedonia and FYR Montenegro votes being banned by PWC after they were discovered to have dropped their jury votes and gone televote only:
http://metro.co.uk/2015/05/24/eurovision-2015-montenegro-and-fyr-macedonias-jury-votes-were-disqualified-5212504/
Montenegro gave its 12 points to Serbia (the only 12 points Serbia were rewarded) and Macedonia to Albania (again its only 12 points). Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Typical Europe, rejecting popular opinion on the grounds of it being too democraticI think....0 -
It's neither of those two, and involves votes not being counted in the first place.
There's also a slight issue of racial hatred (how it's being treated by the Austrian police) while the victim country was giving their votes.💙💛 💔0
