If it takes Eurovision to get FC back they should run it many more times a year :)
    :)

I saw it was on and knew that some of you would be here talking about it (esp Viva and CV) so I got the Kindle out to see.

I have to confess I am now in the kitchen on the laptop and OH has turned the channel over as he has no interest.

How do any of you type on a tablet? It's a right PITA. It keeps changing all the words and I can't re write them, it just changes them back again.

I am also betting that Chewy can no longer spend an entire Saturday afternoon sitting on a comfy sofa, with a beer watching the footy.

...I never really left, I just didn't post as everything I would have written would have been all ' misery, doom, gloom, grumbling bassstadd' type of stuff.....so when my headspace is in that mood (or stressed out) I abstain as you would all block me.;)

I would pay good money for the chance to lie on the swing seat in the garden and doze/read/tablet for a few hours (or the whole day to be honest). I fear it will not be until the kids leave home that I get that pleasure again.

i now have the time and garden to sit out. much of the time I can hear nothing but birdsong. The choice is whether to sit in very comfy chairs or lay on aged but comfortable steamer. Drinks of choice are lime & soda or iced coffee. It costs nothing but makes me feel very fortunate. I managed to get someone in to do the digging I wanted, they have done a super job for ony £10/hr. They are coming on BBH Monday tp edge the grass along the garden path. Freed from hard labour, OH, was motivated to cut the grass this morning and we sat outfor a while together today. This evening we sat out with the fire pit alight. It was a tad smoky but pleasant enough and took the chill away.

Raw foods should be banned.... man didn't invent fire, then cooking, for people to eat raw foods! It's not natural!

    .... it's like a double bubble.....
I've no way to compare, but I think parents are "worse than kids" as you have more control over kids (you call the shots and send them to be early if they don't comply) .... managing parents is a whole different/harder ballgame.

Tough times.... why does nobody tell us this WILL happen to us?

I've been thinking of them, and you .... and hoping all was progressing as smoothly/seamlessly as it could, but knowing that everything happens without warning or notice and you're not able to have choices, it's all stuff being done to you.
