Lots of people are having babies today, I am equally (dis)interested in all of them.

Two men plan to assault each other probably causing long term brain damage, I care not.
    I think....

But it breaks up the tedium of grown men (and women) shouting each other down in the name of politics.

If it were possible, I care even less.

They've even had David Cameron giving his views on the new Royal birth...why on earth do they think anyone would care about his views???

I would like for Kate and baby to have a healthy birth, I do not care a jot beyond that.

The Sky commentator endlessly interviewing other royal commentators is extremely tedious.

Regarding the fight, I have no interest in that either, but it amused me to hear that one is such a hero in his native Philippines, that the electricity company has had to ask people to switch off all of their electrical appliances other than the tv to ensure that it can be broadcast there without blackouts.

Its quite fun picking names though.

    This morning I like

'Prince Caesar, fourth in line to the throne.' It just tickles me.

I also like ' Prince Jesus-Maria' too. Why not a Spanish name for a British prince, in a united Europe? It would break up the monotony of boring old repeats too.

Or Ptolemy. Suitably royal and yet unexpected. And George and Ptom sounds phonetically sweet.

I have girls names too, but you get the idea.....

Or that there isn't something else he'd rather be talking about!

Great suggestions lir. As I'm feeling more lowbrow this morning, I'd like one named after a singer... Prince Prince. I can't think of anything for a girl, but doubt that they will go for Anna or Elsa.

But.... is it going to be a girl because they sent the commoners shoe been camping outside the hospital some cakes in a box tied with a pink ribbon?? (etc etc) I've generally been quite neutral about the royal family - along the lines of they don't do me any harm and they're a quaint tourist attraction.

But thinking about this little baby who is catapulted 'above' us all on the basis of the family he/ she had been born into...

Just thinking... maybe a Spanish name wouldn't be that unusual or without precedent. Didn't Anne name her daughter after a Spanish clothier?

I think they should go Greek or German.

Actually, with the number of names little baby is likely to be bestowed, could probably cover both :)
