I think they should go Greek or German.

Actually, with the number of names little baby is likely to be bestowed, could probably cover both :)

I like that idea, particularly if they have buildings named after them. Who wouldn't want to see the opening of the Prince Oedipus Complex?

So... Lydia, how are we doing? Give us some pointers? :)

Edit: unrelated, but meant to post this earlier. Just in case anyone had wondered how tall a rose can grow (especially if neglected and competing for light)... The answer is pretty effing tall! I'd guess at least 8 feet

And I'm hopefully getting some bespoke hand-made railings to replace my awful front wall... Below would be on my mood board (if I had one, is really not as grand as it sounds, neighbour is hopefully going to make them for me, pic is some nearby railings I like the look of (let me know if you have any other suggestions as they'll be made to measure :o) Might use an accent colour to the front door, otherwise it'll be grey or a patina but not black)

I really like your new front door, and the colour is great.

Those railings would provide a practical place for a passing knight to tie his charger whilst he pops in for a cup of Earl Grey.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Or that there isn't something else he'd rather be talking about!

Why are politicians expected to have a view about everything? It really would not do for DC simply to say that he's not even a little bit interested in the baby, and yet we all know that is the case. I don't suppose he's even concerned that it represents an extra £700 a year in child benefit for the Exchequer to find.

We now, after 17 years in the house, have a proper mortice lock on our front door. This is after being told both by Banhams and Chubb that it was impossible to do.

We have just broken into a bar of Green and Black chocolate with a use by date of 2016. In this house, the question is whether it will last until 20:16 this evening?

It's taken me since Mothers day to eat a box of After Eights...with help from youngest.

I got a box of (milk) chocolates for my birthday last week, they have still not be opened and probably won't be for some time. I am just not craving chocolate, especially milk chocolate (I love dark chocolate when the mood takes me) but then, contrary to what most of my friends, family or lookers on believe, I am not a huge chocolate lover. Even before the diet, a box of chocolates would be around for months, now on the diet, it is going to be even longer.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
