Greetings silver! How is Marigot Bay? Have you been to stinky Soufriere? Hope you are having a wonderful time!

We are staying newr Soufriere - no smell yet.

This really is how other people live. We have a butler who keeps appearing at random times, just to check we have everything we need. Reminds us that we haven't thought where we would like dinner and then organises everything. Rooms are spread out over acres, so they run motorised buggies to take you about, if you start walking anywhere a buggy appears, just in case you would find it easier not to walk. Never quite get over the feeling that we are being watched and tracked, but it is quite besutiful here. We are in what was a crater, so if you hear that St Lucia volcano has erupted please send help and mushrooms.

    Welcome Polly.

    cutie twins chewy!

Go for all the help you can get Spirit. i have a friend whose child had an accident and was left with 91% mobility after a year, intense physio moved it up to 94% and that is a big improvement.

Spirit you have done so wonderfully well you really have, I would continue on with paying for awhile longer. At some point progress will slow and stop, at that point you will have to come to terms with your limitations. Knowing your mindset you may find that hard to accept, be kind to yourself and find new ways to enjoy life and it's simple sedate pleasures. This is such a hard change to accept and come to terms with but remember acceptance of your new reality doesn't mean giving up!

Spirit I've only just started seeing a physio and finding it very helpful. I concur with he others to take as much help as you can get and don't try to be MSE about it.

Trying to catch up with the party leaders talks but iplayers a bit rubbish tonight. As was most of the technology I've interacted with today. DW just managed to dodge getting trapped in the Clapham train hellhole today.

Spirit, not a time to be MSE at all, The clinical Pilates from Viva's description sounds as if it should really help you and well worth the expenditure of getting someone to come to your house.

Thank you for all the nice comments about the fondant fancies! Ella is on the left.

They are very cute, but I would say that... They are still very little - 2 months old now but still smaller than some new borns are (they are about 9.5lbs, one of our friends had an 11 pounder!). They are starting to smile now which is lovely. However, because they are small they still need to be fed about every 3 hours which is really grinding us parents down! They also both have reflux issues which means A LOT of crying.

The sleep deprivation is quite something. I think the easiest way to describe it is that it is like constantly having all of the negative parts of being rampantly drunk with none of the upside.

Ah yes, I remember it well......Thank you for the lovely photo chewy. So sorry to hear they have reflux problems - is something going to be done about it at some point, or might they grow out of it?

Spirit I'm glad the physio has helped so much and hope you find the best way ahead for you. Can I just ask....you mentioned a WAH...was that a typo or did you mean a wheelchair-adapted horsebox? Sorry if I'm being silly :o

Silvercar Glad you're having a relaxing and warm time :)

lir It's great that you feel so much better than usual after a trip to London :T

One of the songs performed last night by Josh and his year 13 music group....

Josh loves this song, so much so, it was one of his contrasting songs for his uni interview/auditions (which worked as he got 5 offers!)
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
