Spring cleaning - what's that?!!!
Spring sit out in the sunshine every opportunity possible is what I'll be doing. And is what I've been doing today.
The house did get hoovered and mopped through first thing and I have made a nice dinner and kept up with WUDUPA. Dogs have had two walks, but the rest of the day has been in the garden (oh and quickly popped to garden centre). I've planted cabbages, broccoli, peas and radish today. Deweeded the patio and moved the pots of flowers to where I can see them all from the house.
See you all tomorrow.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
today has been a productive day... I cleaned the bathroom and whilst i had the steam mop out i also did the utility room, kitchen and hallway:j
I have hoovered the lounge, ds2's bedroom and our room.
I cleared out my bedside table - there was SO much junk and rubbish in there but I did find the gold coin that my parents gave me years ago which I thought I had lost. I need to find somewhere that will buy it for a decent amount. I then had to change our bed sheets and duvet cover as there was so much dust I would have been sneezing all night:eek:
it has been a glorious day here so nice to have some sun and warmth. OH and I took the dog for a lovely walk.
I am having a quick cuppa before I make my mum's birthday card - I have to post it tomorrow.saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

As much stitching as can been done has been. I've got to hang it for 24 hours, apparently, to let the bias skirt settle. Hmm. Not sure I remember that bit from the GBSB, and it's known as The Walkaway Dress because you're supposed to be able to make it in the morning and walk away in it in the afternoon.
I remember them saying that on GBSB too (mind you I mis-remembered the name of the dress) - but I definitely remember the theory behind it - not least because I am certain I couldn't make it within that time frame:rotfl:
One bag of paperwork sorted/shredded/filed as appropriate. :T
Have found my diary - unfortunately, while I recorded the DAY of my dental appointments (tomorrow) I did not record the time.Obviously they're closed today so I will have to phone first thing!
Shower curtain (part of Vallimobile winter kit - I use it to protect the windscreen from frost because it is water and therefore frost resistant) removed from car and put in shed with other car stuff.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hola!
Shamefully absent herebut had the most glorious day in the garden with the littlies. We've made obstacle courses, cleared the playhouse of a ladybird infestation, planted spudlings, hula hooped and bounced on space hoppers. We were all very grubby and tired
Stays the same at SW this week. Quite relieved - not been eating eggs but I knew I was gaining, so pleased to have pulled it back. Although I can't vouch for the next week or so
Feels like I've rather a lot to do tomorrow! But kiddies will be in club, so I shall be able to crack on...Bossymoo

Hi Everyone
I have had a really lazy weekend as I felt very tired just before Easter.
Got food out of freezer every day except Sat when we went out for lunch.
Sowed seeds in greenhouse
Caught up with ironing
Most impressed with all your efforts!0 -
Hiya everyone hope you've had a good bank holiday. Today we went to collect all the stuff I need for some diy and craft projects. Then we went to the water park for a walk in the sun.
I got home and hoovered through, cleaned bathroom, 2 loads of washing done and washing up.
Then gave up as my girls brought friends round to play. Fun had by all.

Does anybody else worry about what people may think when they enter your house or is it just me. I always feel really uneasy?Jan 2015 GC £267/£260
