Hiya everyone :easter_ba:
Thanks for the new thread Dusty and thanks for last week Natty
Well - I'll be here but don't think I'll be doing much flying this week.
DH working tomorrow so I will be home alone. I think I might use the enforced sitting-down to declutter some more paper-work then at least I won't feel the time is totally wasted. Would be great to start to see some progress there.
Hope all the other poorlies are feeling better and those still on holiday enjoy the promised good weather.

Morning, I am back again......I need to come back to be with you flyladies and flygents everyday......I miss you all, flying feels very lonely otherwise and not much gets done.
I am going to get level 1 done today if it kills me (I have downstairs loo, dining room and DD3 bedroom acting as storage areas ready to pack stuff up to exit on the quick, although I haven't actually got anything organised.
The EX's solicitor has thrown down the gauntlet he wants the house and me out - my compensation???? £166 Per Annum for the 24 years I have dealt with his "behaviour".........I could have been a no good lazy bum, never worked a day in my life, been hit by a car gone phew my leg hurts and got more than £4000. That is not even £800 per child!
So I am picking that gauntlet, lacing it up and getting ready to whack him with it and everything I have been hoarding/organising behind the scenes......the fiery Skinty has returned!
Right no more whining (although I would rather be wining and dining!) time to get started with this now.......going to start HH-fling boogie and get some washing on.....back soon
Bank Holiday Monday(Feel free to have the day off) – Choose a room which never gets much attention, maybe snug, kids bedroom, spare room, conservatory
Level One
HH putting all the stuff away and rehoming items to other rooms
Level Two
Hoover or mop the floor
Clean bed linen for any beds due a change
Wipe all dusty areas with a damp cloth
Level Three
Have a good declutter, file, fling or bin
S&S any sinks, toiletsThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -

Good morning and Happy Easter everyone.
Have been having a quick swish round each morning before I've gone out.
Have been to the Vintage Weekend at a seaside village near me for two days and back today. A huge effort made by them and it's brought many people in. There has been kite demonstrations and swing music and dancing. The shops all have there windows dressed. Lots of activities.Today it's vintage car parade. I discovered the whole village are involved in a genealogy project. I remembered my mam had relatives there. So managed to get a bit of info last night.
Welcome to returners and newbies.0 -
Good morning flyladies (and gents). Welcome newbies and returners.
I've already got the door mats started in the washing machine and the dogs are fed. I plan to hoover and mop through the house today and then just get out in the garden again. Won't cut the grass again though, yesterday's high cut actually looks quite good.
Have a great Easter Monday everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Welcome back, Skinty. We've missed you too.
What?!?!?!?!?!?! Less than 50p a day?!?!?!?!?!? Think again, Sunshine!!!
As I said before, welcome back!
Thank you Ionafan.........it's good to be home again.
Yes, this is a man who will think nothing of spending £20 a time on chinese just for himself.......at least once a week £24960 over 24 years........even their profit margin on those dinners over the same time is more than what he is offering me!
GRRRR :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
right this morning I have.........collected up the mini rubbish bags from various rooms and got them out..
flung washing to bottom of the stairs.
collected stray shoes and put in shoe box
got WM, TD and DW on
cleared and cleaned 2/3 of kitchen worksurfaces
got loo soaking in cleaner
emptied fridge of things opened more than 6 weeks!
put mattress cover on protector ready for DD2 bf to stay in few days.
Going to have a cuppa now, then start again just after 8The cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Set the DW on the wrong programme......now on the right one.
Opened the curtains and the blinds in 'Puter Room to find DD3 has spilled a load of spaghetti bolognese in the new carpet in this room and there is some on the wallpaper.
Everything taken off the floor and hoovered
Everything taken off the 'Puter bench.....and hoovered all crumbs and stuff of the bench and out of the keyboards!
Time to start cleaning and stain removal in here.....then I will go check on WM and TD
See you back at 9The cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Morning all
Welcome Daily and any other newbies, lurkers, it's spring delurk and jump right on in.
Welcome home Skinty, sorry things are so pants but you're one tough cookie, you'll battle through I'm sure.
The kitten which dragged a leg of lamb bone around the floor yesterday is still looking a bit greeen around the gills. I need to mop the greasy floor.
The sun is shining so the pull of the garden will be great! Will limit myself to cutting the grass, planting a few FMKs in the back garden and potting up some dahlias.
DH is on painting the door duty (after I mask it up) and a few other bits of decorating as his knee is a bit better today.
See you all at lunchtime. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Good morning everyone I am going to make a start on my list and do an hours work before I stop for a cuppa and a catch up. I am determined to keep up with the thread this week since I am not at lectures.0
