ANPR Ltd. suspended by the BPA...

they dont have to be members to issue parking tickets, quite a few are not in any trade body
And its surprising just how many people do just pay up on receiving a ticket attached to their vehicle - isnt the figure something like 60%
just on its own that can be quite a profitable business which does at times make me wonder why a PPC bothers with things like joining a trade association, trying ( and very rarely succeeding ) to follow a code of practice and so on.From the Plain Language Commission:

Because cash is the predominant driver so the chance of an extra few quid is impossible to ignore , like a niggling itch . End of0 -
Iirc the "pay up" rate jumps to something around 80% if a NTK drops through the door which is why they love the DVLA access.0

Now confirmed, booted out of the BPA:

I can only imagine not-so-clever-Trevor genuinely believed the BPA would never dare do this. Mind you, he's been getting away with it for so long you could hardly blame him for thinking that.Je suis Charlie.0 -

So it will probably be the IPC in six months, if they fancy the[STRIKE] hassle [/STRIKE]business.
Unless he does as he has said before and start his own ATA!

Wonder if he'll be suing the BPA for loss of earnings, the same as he threatened the Government when the clamping ban came into effect? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Trev's website is still claiming that his company is an AOS member:-
Accreditation
ANPR Ltd. is UKAS ISO 9001 accredited and registered with the ICO (Information Commissioners Office).
Should any motorist fail to heed the warnings, as members of the BPA Approved Operators Scheme we can request from the DVLA the vehicles registered keeper raising enforcement from 45% to 80%.
No one else can offer the expertise, the deterrent and the service like ANPR Ltd. So may I suggest you start protecting your valuable parking areas with the most effective alternative to wheel clamping available.
