Mike Tickle the head of Preston "off street" parking was shocked to hear the news , as they use ANPR for 9 car parks
I did ask him about all the £100 that ANPR handed over every time someone trespassed on there land , however he can't remember receiving any moneys

Anyone in the public sector who engages such low life companies (for fee or free) to do their dirty work should be held to the same accountability as the PPCs themselves. They need he needs to realise who his ultimate employer is and behave accordingly.

Partly, my issue was with private land and UKPC, but since the public sector should be using resources in the interests of public good they should be more "discerning" about who they use as their agents or sub-contractors (sub-contracting being the norm for the public sector nowadays!).

What I find really abhorrent is the use of these controls in hospitals, particularly for patient parking.

agreed , but we can get passed "trev" and his silly tricks , however if they move the car parks into land that can be accessed by "little hitlers" , and bailiffs , we will be worried

Then I would suggest that Mr Tickle should sue ANPR for the money!

Please change that to a link, or shrink it markedly. "Image breaks forum" shocker! :)

I really do not see where this is going. In my opinion, we need less regulation, not more, go after large landowners and soon small buy to let landlords will be told by over-mighty councils how much rent they may charge.

Somewhat perversely, I think we are somehow going to miss owd Trev (although those motorists he's harrassed won't be mourning ANPR's 'passing').

Is 'RIP ANPR Ltd' a bit premature? :)
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
