I have just clicked on the competition entry form for the car, but it clearly states, FLOURESCENT PARK IS NOT THE ANSWER? and tells you to read it again..... anyone any suggestions? all the best Bev xx

definately sussed something out- just went on site and found this:

Important Message from the 23rd Century Productions team:
We are now about half way through our Win The Mini competition, due to be drawn on 31/12/07 and still desperately seeking our first correct entry.
We really do want to make somebody feel really special by giving them our fantastic Mini. We have decided to do two things to help. Firstly we are extending the deadline to match up with the Name the Planet competition, great news is you now have until the 19th of May 2008 to enter.
Secondly and as promised a further clue: The answer is NOT Fluorescent Park.
All you need to do is read the book and work out the answer, simple! Well it should be, watch this space as we may very well give you a third clue soon.
The answer is in the book.

Juast checked the comp site and they say the answer is NOT fluourescent park - the clues they give are:
Clue: ‘A safe haven that’s not quite neon’
Clue 2: `Don't be mislead by what you have read.’
Further Clue: `It's not fluorescent park!’

I went to the site to enter and they have posted a new deadline of march 2008. Also They gave another clue saying the answer was not Flurescent park! What do you think of that x

Just looked at the link and it now says that the answer is not fluorescent park there is a second clue : "dont be mislead (sic) by what you have read

I wasn't sure if 'don't be mislead by what you have read' referred to sites like this...where people read just the answer and not the book.

I read the book before I noticed this thread and I entered the comp with the answer 'flourescent park'....it's the only answer that makes sense as far as I can tell and I wasn't being influenced by what I had ready on this site. I mean the first clue is 'a safe haven thats not quite neon'.....the only safe haven in the book is flourescent park.

Maybe this was their original answer but they've now changed it after the hoo-haa of compers entering without reading the book. They've moved the closing date so seems like they are making it up as they go along. Might have another read of the book but I made notes and studied it and didn't come up with any other possibilites ! I'm well and truly stumped !

thats what i reckon.they have now changed the answer... it'll be like 321 tv show clues probably, just so that we can't win it. e.g safe haven = safe, what would you put in a safe? money, thats right and what do you spend money on? Yes shoes ! shoes are also a haven for your feet so the answer folks is shoes!! Thanks for being on 321 , i mean the twenty third century kids comp.

I totally agree with the last post! I have read the book cover to cover, back to back, upside down, and still Fluorescent Park seems the only answer (even though it is not, claims the website). Let's try and work it out - it is driving me bonkers!
