  • I've just finished reading the book and the name of the planet isn't given. I didn't notice any mention of anywhere called Fluorescent Park - have you got a page reference?

It's worth mentioning that the book contains an entry form only comp with a prize of £10,000 closing some time in 2008.

The answer to win the car is fluorescent park but beware when i entered this a woman phoned me up to ask where i got the book from and what i thought of it etc, she then told me my entry was in the comp xx

There is no mention in the T&C that you have to read the book to enter the draw. ..??

The question doesn't ask for the name of a planet - the question/clue is:

Clue: ‘A safe haven that’s not quite neon’

    is good enough for me!

You can also download the form here
  • No, the question didn't ask for the name of a planet, but as they were looking for a planet that was to replace an increasingly dangerous Earth, I, and several other posters, thought they were looking for the name of that planet.

However what they were actually looking for was a place where the Children of the Underground could feel safe, and that indeed is Fluorescent Park, as given on pp158-159 of the book.

The site says the comp closes on 31-12-07 not 2008 as stated in the title of the thread.
  • Just received this by email.... methinks they're onto us!!!
