Hope I'm not too late to join in....I've got 11 more days at work this month, so I'll go for the whole 11 and see what happens. I am notorious for getting bored with taking lunch with me after about 2 or 3 days and reverting to buying....which I did today after bringing lunch on Mon and Tues! See you tomorrow with the latest effort!

Edit to add, one of the things I usually do is not eat breakfast but by the time I get to work I'm usually starving, so then I buy a croissant or something as well. I just remembered a recipe that I used to make and freeze

Just wisk one out of the freezer and by the time you get to work it's defrosted and ready to zap in the microwave for a couple of minutes.

    Hi all,

I love yogurt but shop bought fruit yogurt is too sweet for me so i make my own pots with a pot of Greek yogurt £1.10 and tinned or frozen fruit about 50p to £1. The beauty of frozen fruit if it is frozen in individual pieces is that you can grab 3-4 bits and add them to tinned fruit and it keeps it cool until lunchtime for you!
I buy all my sandwich ingredients and fruit from Mr T's at around 4 pm on Friday when the best reductions are, and costs me around £5 in total per week. You have some yummy sounding alternative fillings to HLT, sadly my usual which is a bit boring - so I will investigate. Thanks for all your suggestions.

1/11....I have an egg mayo sandwich today, plus I've brought with me a bag of crisps and some fruit.

the only things I will buy will be a cup of tea (only 40p from our little cafe) and a diet coke. I know it would be cheaper to bring a coke that I bought in a multi pack from the supermarket, but I can't carry very much (weight wise) and what with all the other stuff I lug backwards and forwards to work I wouldn't be able to manage that as well.

    Enjoy your lunch everyone!

I used to do this quite a lot to save all the additives in fruit yoghurts more than any other reason. I used to mash the fruit up a bit (fresh or frozen) and add a little sweetener (sugar, honey, or whatever) Only used whole milk greek yoghurt though....I hate that low fat stuff!;)

I am aiming for 9 more days...

Today I went to the supermarlet before work, so slightly cheating in that I bought ready-chopped salad leaves, but adding smoked salmon trimmings and a yoghurt, and some fruit.
