This weeks lunches for me were
Monday - roast whole chicken with baked asparagus, although I didn't have a lunch break so I ate it when I got home.
Tuesday - squid rings and king prawns (frozen from lidl), with humous and brocolli.
Wednesday - soya bean salad, no dressings
Thursday - chillied pollock and spinach
Friday - chicken thighs and yesterdays left over meatballs with brussels and broad beans.
I don't think I have ever purchased anything from a works canteen, far too risky when you have coeliacs disease, a nut allergy and you're lactose intolerant!0 -
Had a bagel with some fruit for lunch today.
Gwylim, i bet that is a nightmare if you have to eat out. Have you found most restaurants to be helpful and offer lots of food that you can eat?0 -

Failed miserably today....have been at home all weekend with the mother of all colds, so haven't cooked or shopped, therefore nothing viable to take to work. Have purchased a salad and some ham (shock horror) and it wasn't even that nice....probably because I can't taste anything properly!0

I'm up to 8 now. Lunch was paid for all weekend when I was away in the south of Ireland. I only got back last night so the cupboards are empty but I'm sure there is a tin of beans hiding somewhere.0 -
