OK have totted up my numbers and am impressed. Drum roll please ....
13 OUTs (including the items mentioned in last post) and
2 INs - Elemis Lime Blossom Balancing Cleanser which replaces one I of the OUTs above and Yes to Grapefruit cleansing wipes. I did also buy cotton wool but I don't stash this so haven't counted it.
V pleased with myself.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I second what dolly84 said about Aldi cotton pads, they are such great value for money.
A UU to report: Dove Visible Effects Hand Cream. This lasted for such a long time and did a good job of moisturising my hands. I have another Dove hand cream to use but for now have moved onto a Sanctuary Hand Cream I received as a gift a few years ago, which really needs to get used!Thank you to everyone who posts on here0 -
I thought my totals for the month would be worse than this so I'm actually quite happy
12 INs (three travel size, one mag freebie, one 3 for 2 freebie, four were half price, one gift. Total spent - £40.39)
13 UUs
The INs were due to 'wedding guest panic' at the beginning of the month. I suspect that if I had easy access to Boots it would have been worse! I'm counting make-up INs from now on. Three of the INs were make-up and account for £19 of the total spent. I'm really happy that I stumbled across the Hydraluron etc minis on offer as I've wanted to try those for ages. (They were £7.99) The only necessary IN was a spot gel from Superdrug. (I'm happy it was £3.48) I'm thrilled with the Superdrug Clearly Youthful Booster Serum so far. It's really hydrating and was £3.48 for 50ml. I think the Superdrug Clearly Youthful 3in1 Cleanser/Scrub/Mask was a mistake as it seems very harsh. I'm not yet sure about the Superdrug Clearly Youthful Resurfacing Night Serum - it may be too strong for my skin.
I'm hoping for a no buy May. I'm targeting splutterers and travel sizes and my main motivation is to declutter. I also want to feel that I'm getting good value out of my products (the youtubers really stressed this) so I think I'll do a monthly make-up basket as well.
ETA: As an experiment I'm going to keep all my empties in a bag until the end of the month so I can really see my progress. I need as many ways to encourage myself as possible!0 -
A couple of needed INs here Right Guard X Invisible &
Right Guard Xtreme Invisible. Nothing much else to report, here's hoping for lots of sunshine in May:)Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
Two more
UU - Boots cucumber clay mask - finished to the last drop. My favourite mask - will use up the others though before I buy this again.
UU - Loreal Flutter Lashes mascara - this grew on me. The brush takes some getting used to, but it separates and lifts quite well. Doesn't boost volume a great deal.
I also have good news - the mac blusher I suspected was faulty, definitely was, and got a FOC replacement. They were actually very good - very little hassle to sort out, very straight forward, good communication. All done online.0 -
1 UU before we are off to May- Bepanthol Body Lotion. Used it by mixing with shower gel as it is very liquid. A nice texture and very light. I may buy again in the future.
2 INs - 1 Neels' Yard hand cream from Marie Claire and 1 Clinique Serum from InStyle magazineally.0 -
UU:
Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter. 75ml. Liked the tube for delivery. Product was easily absorbed. Worst fragrance ever. Nothing citrusy to me, just not right smelling. WNBA
Boscia Restorative Night Treatment. Basically a serum. I used day and night because I figure my skin doesn't know the time. It came as part of a gift box.
Clinique Take off The Day Makeup Remover. GWP size. Meh. I'll never rebuy, I've still got bottles under the sink. Note to self, take some stuff around to daughter in law. This stuff seems to breed.
I've hit pan on several favourite eyeshadows and I am making them last.
I'm just trying to use up what is in every day rotation and for the cleansers, I'm going to tackle the travel sizes. I have enough small bottles and jars that I can take stuff with me.
Having said that, the every day stuff in the UK and Spain is far cheaper than over here. So, next Feb. I don't have to worry about taking wipes, shampoo, etc with me. It's just easier and cheaper to get it locally.0 -
Just incase anyone missed it the new thread was started a few days agoI've started May's thread -

Hello all,
Last April UU for me:
French Connection body polish 50ml. Lovely, lovely, lovely DWBA!
Radox spa care shower gel 250ml
Aveeno moisturiser sample sachet WNB! Awful, felt like Vaseline on my skin.
Garner 7 day moisturiser sample Shea butter sample sachet
Scottish fine soaps sea kelp shampoo 30ml
Gilchrist and Soames body wash 30ml
Pantene conditioner sample sachet.
Phew, I think that's them all. 20 UU for April!
2 INs towards the end if the month though
Bubbles and Butters chocolate body wash 250ml. Already in use, yummy.
nSpa hot fudge shower and bath gel 500ml. Both bargains.
Must try harder in May....0 -
Just fininshed tracking the samples I need to report as UUs from the last couple of weeks
2 perfume samples (small wipe format)
1 shampoo sachet
1 conditioner sachet
1 day cream sachet
1 night cream sachet
1 eye cream sachet (this did me 4 or 5 applications!)
1 firming/toning lotion sachet (don't believe this stuff works, but it smelt OK)
takes me up to 2 INs, 13 UUs and 2 TAs for the month
feels like a but of a cheat though, as 11 of my UUs were samples
and sample use ups don't actually free up much space, even if it does mean I'm rid of fiddly things that keep falling behind / under other stuff
with a shower gel sample hopefully due to finish tomorrow (already done 3 showers from the one sachet - yet another confirmation I don't seem to use as much as many other people!)Cheryl0
