I always use Tesco's own brand, they're only 72p for a pack of 14 and they're really good. Both super and regular are the same price.
The tesco value are 62p, i've never tried them but for the sake of 10p more i've got a feeling the own brand would be better.

Thank you for all suggestions !

I have one UU - Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Skin Balancing Night Cream. This is a very smooth cream. Leaves the skin soft.
I found the scent of the product nice too - which is something I'm normally very picky about.
I bought this as part of a deal and for the price, I'm not sure if it does anything extraordinary.

I have a No7 one anyway - so will use it first.

We are leaving for travelling at the end of this year so I should really UU my stash quicker :)
    ally.

Hello ladies, late to the party thanks to a very long holiday and work craziness but I'm in again! Thanks Deleted_User for starting us off.

I've not had a chance to catch up properly, but hope all are well, and belated birthday/wedding/anniversary wishes and hugs where needed. We celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary whilst on holiday - how time flies!

I have lots of UUs to report (apologies in advance for the mammoth post), first a catch up from March:

13/52. Sanctuary Mande Lular Sensuous Bath Crème 500ml - WNBA, came as part of a set and was fine but repurposed as shower gel and didn't last very long.

Took me to -6 for the month and -14 YTD.

    April UUs:

1/53. Soltan Spray SPF15 75ml - not a massive fan so probably WNBA but handy for travel, tends to ball on my skin if I overapply. Lots left as these were glitch a couple of years back.

2/54. No7 Body Shimmer Aftersun 200ml - another glitch bargain (paid to take away), WNBA full price but nice with a tan though not hugely moisturising.

3/55. Piz Buin Lotion SPF15 200ml - one of my HG creams, WBA.

4/56. Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion SPF15 59ml - was sent these to trial but had already become hooked last summer. HG, great coverage, scent and moisturisation, WBA when needed.

5/57. Hawaiian Tropic Body Butter Aftersun 200ml - HG, WBA but more stashed. Super moisturising and the scent is quintessentially "holiday" for me.

6/58. Boots Repel Lotion 120ml - probably WNBA, left a horrid residue and not hugely effective. Think I prefer the Superdrug sprays.

7/59. Nivea Lotion SPF10 200ml - WNBA, another glitch and sick of the sight of these - several more to go, good job I stash holidays as badly as I stash toiletries!

8/60. Garnier Ambre Solaire Advanced After Sun 200ml - a sale purchase and WMBA, left skin very refreshed, absorbed well and smelled good.

9-10/61-62. Aveda Infati Exfoliating Shampoo and Conditioner 10ml - freebie and WNB, didn't wow me and quite runny.

11-12/63-64. White Company Jasmine, Rose and Neroli Shampoo 30ml - hotel freebie, fine but nothing special, WNB.

13/65. Sanctuary Crème Souffle 475ml - WMBA, this was a gift and lasted well, absorbed nicely and non-sticky, I liked the whipped texture.

14/66. No7 Dry Oil Body Spray 200ml - a gift and a huge LHJ, has been my gym moisturiser in constant use since at least November, which by my reckoning means it has done 120+ applications. So good VfM, WMB.

15/67. Boots Extracts Coconut Body Wash 75ml - another gift, this did the job fine, would be happy to receive again and WMB on sale.

16/68. Champneys Skin Comforting Bathing Milk 300ml - part of a gift set, I repurposed as shower gel and it really wasn't up to the job. Smelled fine but WNBA.

17/69. Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser 90ml - HG and WBA but replaced with same.

18/70. Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief 30ml - GWP and I love this, WBA.

19/71. No7 Dream Lash Mascara Black 4.5ml - GWP, was fine but didn't wow me.

I was also naughty and placed a Regis order in their £1 sale - like Sam.4000 I was unable to resist! So for the princely sum of £7.95 I received a huge box of goodies, most of which I have added to the present drawer for stocking fillers, though I have keep the following, mainly as I'm low on travel-sized hair care but refuse to pay MrB prices for the dedicated minis:

    IN:

1/45. Vidal Sassoon Illuminating Clean Shampoo 50ml

2/46. Vidal Sassoon Illuminating Condition Conditioner 50ml

3/47. Vidal Sassoon Illuminating Restore Treatment 30ml

4/48. Vidal Sassoon Heat Shape 30ml

5/49. Vidal Sassoon Spray Shine 50ml

    6/50. ghd Uplift Spray 150ml

    7/51. ghd Thermal Protector 150ml

8/52. ghd Fat Hair Lotion 150ml

9/53. Paul Mitchell Thicken Up Extra Body Styling Liquid 200ml

10/54. Paul Mitchell Thicken Up Extra Body Styling Liquid 25ml (free with the above)

11/55. Regis Design Line Pure Results Moisture Conditioner 350ml

    Whew!

city_girl - I have a mini pot of the Eve Lom cleanser on the go at the moment, it came in a beauty box and I was really pleased as I had wanted to try it for years but the price was too , I don't like it though, firstly it smells of cloves which I don't like as it reminds me of toothache, also it is so thick and lard like that it takes a lot of effort to massage it onto my skin, I assume it is the same stuff you are using but I haven't noticed any bits in it though.

Is this the morning time cleanse you tried? There's 2 types from what I've gathered. The one I've tried is yellow in colour with a slightly sandy texture, just the normal one I think.
  • Welcome back Sundaysgirl and happy anniversary!

    A couple of UUs today:

    Random Hotel Body Lotion

    Chapstick Strawberry Lip Balm:
I like how this had a slight tint in it and it smelt and tasted nice! Unfortunately had been open well over a year so I think it was time to be thrown away.

Soap & Glory Clean On Me Shower Gel 75ml: Nice smell and lathering but nothing that special. WMBA.

I've landed a job interview for a very exciting post next week so I will be ploughing through my stash in the coming days to make sure I'm all pampered and relaxed! :)

It is the hot cloth cleanser and it is yellow and pretty solid like lard, it isn't sandy though. It is in a white pot.

Welcome back Sundaysgirl :) hope the holiday was a fantastic one! And fingers crossed for the job interview, Deleted_User :)

I had to go to sainsburys today and feared for my safety :p but came out with only a pack of their cheapo cotton wool pads. Not declaring them as an IN as I don't stash these (I was down to the last pair I robbed from the hotel in Dubai last year :D) and they were only 60p :money: I tried one out earlier to remove my lipstick and they feel fine, in fact a darn sight better than their normal own brand range which split in half every time you tried to remove one. I only very rarely use them, usually with some micellar water or eye makeup remover if I've been wearing a really heavy eye and my oil cleanser hasn't managed to shift the lot.

As an aside, I am SO glad it didn't know about the Regis super sale! I would not have been able to resist and I most certainly do NOT need any more hair shizz.

I have a stinking rotten cold, DH is out rehearsing (although the the lead singer hasn't turned up, what is it with singers and their egos?! Every one I have met has been at absolute KH!) so I'm going to have a long, hot shower in the hope of clearing out my sinuses a bit, then I'm going to finally get around to slathering that BS vit e mask all over my achy chops. Sniff! :o

ETA: Just used half the vit e mask (6ml sachet so too big for one use), left it on for the requisite 10 minutes, went to "tissue off" as per the instructions and it has ALL sunk in  I thought my skin was a bit thirsty but didn't realise it was THAT parched!

Thank you! And nor did I... :o Hope you feel better soon.

    I have a UU:

20/71. Original Source Vanilla and Raspberry Shower Gel 250ml - this was a gift and smelled gorgeous! The lather wasn't amazing, so I got through this quite quickly, but given how cheaply you can sometimes pick these up I WDBA.

    Morning all.

Berdnerd - good luck with your interview.

FizzWhizz - hope you are on the mend soon. Aldi's cotton rounds are the best I have tried and cheap as chips too.
