I buy Aldi's or Tesco's own, and just keep the bathroom visibly stocked - they seem to be accepted by all and are good value for money. I used to leave some in public toilets downtown I knew homeless frequented too, but after reading your link will be looking to give direct to shelters.
Second this, aldi. Really don't see the difference between own brand and more expensive ones like always personally? Never had a problem with aldi!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2015/2016/2017/2018

Thanks ladies, yes I didn't notice Aldi-owned brands for some reason. I agree it doesn't matter. To be fair, I found it sad that women are really hit hard by this as both issues are really not openly discussed at all.ally.0

I still haven't bought any shower gel or tooth products
I'm now on a no buy on perfumes and body sprays too. I just bought soap and glory sugar crush body spray fruitigo body spray and sugar crush fragrance on 3 for 2
I love the sugar crush scent it's so nice and summery and limey. Don't recommend the body scrub though I'm sure it's that which blocked my sink and I had to pay £10 for sink unblocker.
I've recently bought rimmel wake me up foundation in light porcelain.
It's ok but I don't love it. The color is great but it doesn't wear that well. I can't buy foundation this year without giving one up or using it up first.0 -
Hi
Really happy with myself. Had not brought any products in the last few weeks but have
UU the following:-
Baylisss & Harding Sweet Mandarin Body Wash
Dove Original Body Wash
Avon Soft on Soft Original Bath Oil
Alpha H Liquid Gold
Bayliss & Harding Mulberry, Thyme Steam Body Cleanser
Good Things Manuka Honey Cleanser
Sanctuary Body Wash
Lots of these products were birthday/Xmas pressies.
The Alpha H Liquid Gold was brought when I succumb to QVC last year and though good, I will go back to the nip and fix glycol acid pads
Some are regular items
So 127 - 7 =120
I am getting there, hurrah!!0 -
Morning all.
I have a uu
Body Shop Chocomania Body Butter 200ml - WNBA - most of this was used by the kids but they didn't like it and neither did I. The smell was overpowering and sickly and it balled up on the skin when it had been on a while. Overall I prefer lotions and creams for body moisturising or Boots body butters.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Afternoon everyone!
I have some UUs today and a few INs - I have had a patch of spots on my cheek for over a month now and nothing I'm currently doing seems to be helping (whether that's using my current face products or leaving my face alone completely).
First, some UUs:
TBS Wild Argan Oil Body Lotion 60ml: This smells amazing and was sinked in quite quickly - WBA.
Soap & Glory Hand Food 50ml: This takes ages to sink in and I'm sick of the smell but it does leave my hands nice and soft - WMBA.
Herbal Essences Uplifting Volume Dry Shampoo 65ml: Nothing special about this but bought a few in Sainsbobs as they were heavily reduced. WNBA.
John Freida Sheer Blonde Hair Spray 50ml: I'm not blonde but when me and DH were looking for a clear plastic bag to take toiletries away on holiday we saw this set which came with a high quality bag and as they didn't have the brunette version, I got this instead. Didn't think much of the hair spray as it didn't keep many flyaways down which is the only reason I use hairspray. WNBA.
Now for the INs:
Supderdrug Tea Tree Facial Cleansing Pads
COLAB Dry Shampoo Rio 200ml
Witch Blemish Stick x2
Superdrug Tea Tree Deep Cleansing Nose Strips
Simple Moisturising Facial Wash 150ml0 -
2 more UU:-
Elemis Lime Blossom Balancing Cleanser. Is HG and have another one ready to use. Do want to UU a C&P I have open first though.
Elemis Gentle Rose Exfoliator. Do like this but have a couple of tubes of Papaya Enzyme Peel to use and then decide which to use once they are gone.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Xen-Tan Sparkle in Medium 30ml - this goes on clear (I used a mit) and smelt of coconut, that scent was soon replaced by a super strong version of the fake tan smell. This stuff has gold glitter in it too which I could live without. This morning I am not what I would call medium, I resemble David Dickinson from the neck down (in colour only I hope), it is streaky on my ankles and my knees are darker. Would not ever buy again.
That is a shame, as I have recently been given a bottle of Xen-Tan as a gift. Mine is also medium so I will make sure I try it on just my legs the first time I think, just in case it looks similar on me!
I have been having a big declutter and have TA 3 very small bottles of Ted Baker perfume that I am not keen on and also a Sunkissed eyeliner in brown, as I only like my eyeliner to be black.Thank you to everyone who posts on here0 -
Just sorted through my entire bath stash - 92 items...yikes!! I'm hoarding, need to start using these items before they go off.No buying toiletries challenge
