Well the rest of my day didn't go as planned.
After my last post I cleaned the kitchen. Then my mum came round to give me an update on my dad , who is in hospital, she stayed for dinner and then we both went to the hospital to see him. When we got back she stayed for a cup of tea (don't think she was in a hurry to get back to an empty house) and left about 9.
So, just enough time to sort out the leftovers from dinner and put in the freezer and remake the bed with my brand new pillows!

To orrow will be a lot of coming and going as I told mum I would do four trips to the the hospital and she could come over lunch in the middle of the day to have a break. Because of the way my dad is they are letting her go in the morning as well as afternoon and evening visiting.
So, before we do our first journey my aim is to get Monday's list finished!

    Hiya everyone :hello:
Hope all the poorly peoples are soon feeling better. I came back with an 'Italian' cough and cold - not too bad to be honest and a good excuse for a hot toddy ;)

Frizzle - best of wishes for your father (hugs)

Had a great day today ! Decided to start sorting the huge cupboard in the spare room from where I have pulled out all the files and files of paperwork, course work and course books.

Have re-organised three shelves of food stocks into two shelves and put all the drink and spare bottles of oil on another cupboard. Some of the tins I have put in a box for the food-bank and a couple of things were out of date and so binned.

This means I can now store our suitcases and briefcases in the bottom of the cupboard and hopefully, once all the paperwork sorted, it will fit back onto the top three shelves fingers xd.

If it's gone I've done it or don't have one

Morning flyladies, paperwork for me this morning as it's payday. Need to know where I stand after all the unexpected vet bills in the last week. Up to nearly £200 now but the news is improving all the time.

    Right better crack on.

    Have a great day everyone.

Hoping to get a few jobs done today seeing as I can't go to work. DS has lost his coat and says that none of his others fit him so I'll have to get him a new one asap.

    Have a good day all

Good news about your mum dusty
Elastic I hope all the building plans go as smoothly as possible and cause you title disruption
Mils warfarin check first thing then into mrT to seek a vegan Easter egg
DH was incredibly Impressed with the bedroom and has promised to try and keep it like that, in fairness since I blitzed and cleared the bathroom it has stayed looking tidy and it was DH who took down the broken mirror bracket and the ratty metal shelf after only one ask, he's even said he will sugar soap the walls where they were to make it look better.
DH and DS1 have been decluttered to work so I'm going to squeeze a cuppa and a couple of rows of knitting in before the drs appt then will get on with today's losts and the cupboard under the stairs once I'm back. I did say I would think about the cupboard yesterday and sadly that was as far as I got.

Have a good day all, sticks spoons hugs and posi vibes where needed.

    Morning everyone.

Kitchen was blitzed yesterday. Dailies done.

Saw neighbour to ask his plasterer friend to call round. Back yard walls need sorted out and rendered. I've been trying to get someone for ages.

Went out and delivered the Easter Eggs. I'm still off chocolate and it didn't trouble me having them in the house.

Dusty Good news about your mum.

Get well soon vibes for all the poorlies.

Me again. Not a bad start to the day, paperwork done including some shredding, washing off airer and put away, quick hoover downstairs, dogs walked and from the list I've cleaned the keyboards and suchlike.

Paid stuff now. Catch you all later.

    Morning all.

Currently flying at about 100 mph. I've had breakfast and read the paper from cover to cover, except for the sports section. Trains are great! I'm on my way to meet DD and DGS 1+2 for a day in London, then bringing the boys home with me this afternoon :)

The house was clean and tidy when I left, with all yesterday's washing put away. DH is now in charge, so anything could happen - but, like your DH, Mrs-mp, he is now appreciative of a clean and tidy home and does his best to help. Anyway, he will be out all morning at SW so that leaves less time to cause chaos ;)

Very pleased to hear your mum's good news, Dusty. I hope all of you can now declutter some of the stress you've been carting around.

Supporting vibes and (((hugs))) to Drizzle and family.

Hope everyone has a good day x
