Hope all the poorlies start recovering soon.
I'm still in the throws of decluttering our bedroom, it's quite profitable! After emptying one of my underbed drawers of wool last week and storing it all together downstairs I decided to take the drawer out to give it a shake out and put my stash of cross stitch threads and kits in there, while the drawer was out I dragged a coat hanger under the edge of the bed expecting to find the usual odd socks. I pulled out an envelope with a message on saying when and where the contents had been found dated 23/07/12!! And containing a £10 note, I don't recognise the handwriting at all. Very strange, also got a £1coin from under DHs side. I've put about 10 things in a Cs bag and got a carrier bag full of rubbish, will be needing to dust and dyson once I'm done decuttering and rubbish removing. I didn't think it was that bad in here till I started.

I would have joined you for the cuppa Iona but I was working through, I'll grab one now and catch back up.

Both bedrooms turned around, bottom layer dusted and vacuummed, Lodger 1 in during room cleaning. *embarassment*

The fridge and shower room can wait until I've been polished.
    Better is good enough.

    ground floor henried
medicine cupboard sorted and lists made for repeats.

bstf and her DD met for coffee
Bought Ds1 2 new going out shirts as he only had 1 and I felt sorry for him. He has had a clothes allowance for a few years but has recently just been buying t-shirts, Grrr. I have told him he needs to go through his wardrobe in return.

Off to do a few HHC in the master, must avoid sitting down as I'm quite ready for 40 winks.

Dh fed and returned to work, mystery envelope solved, DH found the money at work and handed it in - hence it having a place date and time on, it was not claimed after 6 months so was given to him, it must have fallen out of his pocket when he was getting changed and then kicked under the bed and forgotten.
DS2 and his friend who slept over have gone out to met up with other friends and get fresh air (and probably junk food)
I've run the duster on a stick all round the upstairs ceilings. Put a few DVDs in the CS bag that were 'one watchers'
Going to finish the bedroom off now then I might think about tackling the cupboard under the stairs.

    Hello!

    I am in.

AF has put in an appearance - deep joy.

Favour done for friend this am; have washed the vallimobile and topped up the various fluid bottles. 3 loads of washing blowing on line WOOT - I can almost fit the lid back on the laundry hamper! Ironed Saturday's washing last night and have put all that away. Offspring bossed to clean out rabbit.

The only thing on our bedroom carpet is the furniture! It's been a loooong time since I could honestly say that. Gone are the book stacks and the clutter piles that needed sorting. I just need the clean the window, window sill and polish my dressing table then we have a lovely clean room. I've even dysoned upstairs and the stairs.
Lightbulb moment was last week when I realised that as all of downstairs is tiled or laminate which I sweep and/or mop it made no sense lugging the dyson upstairs to use on the carpets then lugging it back down to store in the alcove. It now lives upstairs in one of the spare rooms.
I've brought bits downstairs that shouldn't have been up there they need to either go in the photo cupboard or the craft cupboard.
I'm actually getting homes for places!!

Cup of coffee time I think, anyone want to join in.

Kick her round to mine Valli.. I'm running late again :/

So, this is why I get NOTHING done, I leave OH in charge of tisying the middle room.. it hasn't been touched. I left the girls downstairs with him so I could put away laundry and pack to go to HIS mothers where I do nt even want to go anyway and he is up and down the stairs like a jack-in-the-box.. while not supervising Pixie ESCAPED FROM THE HOUSE!! AND was at the end of the street... !!!!!! is it with men?? Are they all utterly incapable of owning a bit of common sense and self reliance..

I am really miffed.. I don't even want to go yet I have to do everything including watching the children it would appear!

    Utterly not impressed!

Physio called.. snotty answerphone message left.. again
Mediation called.. look at 3 weeks before the children go.. :) Perfectly timed .. I have their number in my phone now though so I may answer when they call.

One very cross, piddled off Piggy signing off to go prep dinner.. actually no.. fluff them.. OH can do it! He hasn't done a thing other than walk to shop alone for milk and bread and made sarnies for the girls lunch.

Glad pixie is safe pigpen, hope things improve. Put your feet up and let someone else sort the food out, you need a rest.

AF seems to be visiting me much too often, I'm getting more than a little fed up with her. Dr insists its good as my bone density, skin etc will remain stronger and healthier the longer she hangs around but I'm past average age for her to bother someone else now so I wish she'd go away.
