Morning All
Well I'm at home today as I have the runs so I may get some stuff done depending on how I'm feeling. I'm supposed to be running Cubs tonight so unless it clears up I'll have to find someone to do that for me.
I have lots I could be doing though so I might try doing some paperwork so I can sit down doing it. First thing I need to do though is iron the kids' shirts.
Have a good day all
Hugs

Need to go shopping for a few bits. Will do the flying when I come back.
I want to sort out a file I have with information in if anything happened to me. It would make it easier for DD. Just needs updating.0 -

Thanks for the lists ladies.
Ouch froddy and poor jj hope your both not feeling so grim today.
I'm going to be off list, paid stuff and school and swimming yada yada rather a lot to get through. I'm not really a model FLYLADY lately...
On a positive note, I have sorted my head (I think) after my crazy sugar loading the last few days. Weighed this morning and not a gain as expected so I really do need to take advantage of that and pick myself up. 9 days to go and really want that 2.5lb off.Bossymoo

Me again. Hope the poorlies feel better soon.
I've done the jobs from today's list that applied to HSL except hoovering, although I did quickly hoover downstairs. Also sorted washing on airers and put away what was dry, walked the dogs and washed the breakfast dishes.
Paid stuff now. Must finish on time as OldDog has another vet appt.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
First day of the holidays - I'm in but have several hotspots to work at. Todays is the marital bedroom, which is a PIT.
Have had a GP appointment booked for a week. Booked with a female GP to discuss some quite personal stuff. Now GP is off sick. And I have a rescheduled appointment tomorrow with a male GP. so I will have to screw up all my courage to discuss stuff.
DD2 is unwell. D&V and DD1 off work with a persistant headache. Might as well stick a cross on the front door and get someone to shout Unclean! LOL!
Hope all are well. Spoons, hugs and flylady vibes to those who are struggling.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Morning all
DS3 off sick with sore throat, actually we all have sore throats. I need to go to the shops soon as I'm feeling grimmer by the minutes, DS2 is here so no problem leaving DS3 for a bit.
Get well wishes to all under the weather. CY I sometimes find a good male GP more sympathetic than a female one, write it down if necessary and say I feel embarassed and pass it to him. Whatever it is will be more common than you think and probably a peri sympton (I'm becoming a bit of a pro on them so PM me before you go if you like).
See you in a bit oh and the flying bit, WM on and yesterday's laundry put away. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Morning all! I'm just having a :coffee: if anyone would care to join me?
GWS vibes to all poorlies, especially froddy - not the best way to start the holiday! - and supporting vibes for your visit to the GP tomorrow, CY.
This morning I have already
- decluttered a hospital appt
- sorted the washing
- written 3 emails
- phoned DD
I shall be flitting rather than flying this week, as I'm away for a couple of days and looking after DGS1+2 for a couple more. However, most of the house was cleaned on Saturday, so today's list is quite light:
- WMx2
- fold the clothes that have been draped on the airer
- tidy the study-bedroom, dust and hoover
- make up the beds for the boys
- put out towels ditto
- plan meals for the week (DGS2 has decided that he doesn't like meat served in gravy or sauces, so bang goes my plan to cook stews in the SC)
- mow the lawn if the rain keeps off
- write and deliver/post Easter cards and check birthday cards for April
- write more emails (I'm organising a week-long visit by a group of Germans in May, and there are a lot of invitations to a Bring-and-Share Pudding Party to be sent out)
- visit my friend in the nursing home this afternoon
- church this evening, so an early meal
Better crack on, then.
Hope everyone has the best possible day. (((Hugs))), spoons and sticks all round, as appropriate x0 -
Healing vibes for Froddington, CY, JulieJim, the Dusty Kitten family and anyone else struck by a lurgi and bashes. And female GP healing vibes where appropriate - there are some things I'd rather discuss with a woman, but Dusty's right, some of the male GPs are very sympathetic to that situation.
I've got a horrible list of things I'm going to have to do today for a likely arrival by 1.30pm although she may be running late and not arrive until much later, and another arrival tomorrow. So, two bedrooms to turn around, the shower room, and stairs. Doesn't sound like much but it's going to be a killer. I have no idea why I never have any energy, so I need to kickstart my butt and get it into gear this morning.
And I've got the dental hygienist this afternoon. Deep joy.
Eta: I came upstairs to work quietly on my lists - so OH followed me reading bits out of the paper about the England Under 20s who played locally last night (and won) who he met in the gym this morning. You'd think after 20+ years he'd have figured out I'm not really that interested in footie, but apparently not!Better is good enough.0
