It's a Samsung Galaxy GT-S5360
An easier way to find out if you can update it is go to settings, scroll down to about phone, look for system updates and open it up and tap "check for updates", back to previous screen and look for Android version and post what version of android your own, I suspect its not version 5 (lollipop)0 -
not that old...Hi it's a Samsung Gakaxy GT-S5360. Only a cheap phone but not that old.
v2.3.5 (Gingerbread), 180 MB, 290 MB RAM
Try this on pc:
Open your browser and log-in to https://play.google.com/ using your Google account (the same as used on the mobile).
Then, open this link on your browser: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.gms
It might ask you to open the link in Google Play. Don't do it. Choose to open the browser instead. You should see an Install button in the page. Click it.
ETA: but first try what DCFC79 asked you...0 -

Thanks I ll try that. Re not that old it must have been an old phone when I bought it as it was quite cheap but I've only had it a year or so0 -
I think your android version is 5 versions behind the current one...Thanks I ll try that. Re not that old it must have been an old phone when I bought it as it was quite cheap but I've only had it a year or so
and the low RAM maybe be a problem
but try what I wrote above...
another option could be to reset to factory settings (but first back-up everything) and see if it then suggests to upgrade...0
